I’m not sure about it but according to my friends in KSA, mahirap daw yang work na yan.. frontliner ka sa pakikipaglaban.. dilikado.
Im working in saudi arabia but the salary is not enough If I get this oppurtunity my way of life will be change its iether will be good or bad, but If you can see our country only politics will survive with their power, how about the poor family They will go to the politician and get some money to survive for a couple of weeks as you watching noontime show wawawie(karamihan sa mga tao ay talagang gagawin lahat upang mag karoon ng prices) thats the thing government can’t see (dapat mahiy naman ang gob. natin imbes na sila ang mag bigay sa mamamayan sila pa ang kumukarakot ng kaban ng bayan) That the way of life in Phil. see some young girl who become a prostitute in malate, avenida, and also anywhere in the province(talamak talaga dahil sa kahirapan) Thats why im pursuing how to apply in this kind of job. Appreciate if anybody will help me.
Thanks,
SEAMASTER
pls. advice me how to apply for this job
HOW CAN I APPLY
@Ria, yes. Dick’s, George Dubya’s, and other Texan oily boys. Hehe. They’re under the Carlyle Group where Saudis have a large stake.
eeek kakaloka…. i also saw a haliburton ad dati pa… diba company yun ni dick cheney? pero whatevs they have a disclaimer naman….
Figures. Filipino soldiers face low pay and corrupt bosses here; they may as well become Haliburton mercs.
If you’re in the Philippines right now, what military? :P
Down with the military-industrial complex!
(wait a minute, there’s also something like that in the country I’m in. hehe)
Amen eric! Amen!
kahit barya lng ang sweldo ko ngayon. i wont mind.
k lng at least i know im still safe in the philippines. at sa bawat gising ko sa umaga, nakakasama ako ang aking kapatid,
:)
If these private contractors in Iraq can throw fat salaries, it’s because a lot of filthy oily money is being made there. I read that a Halliburton truck driver makes between $8,000-10,000 a month.
US soldiers in Iraq make between $2,000-3,000 a month not because their fighting for freedom but because the US needs to protect the oil business they took over. And these soldiers die by the hundreds every month.
I hope no pinoy would participate in that kind of insanity, not even for $9,000.
ummmm no thanks… kahit kalahati lang ng ganun ung sweldo ko, masaya na ako sa trabaho ko…
are we selling out or what?
Did you guys actually open the link? It’s a SPLOG network!
Anyway in my personal opinion… I won’t mind dying there. What’s scary as hell is getting incapacitated in the war zone.
The salary is very tempting but the risk is just too great. Thanks but no thanks! :D
Kates,
Actually, I am back in Israel!
kidlat,
I read the article. Yes, that KBR used to be connected with Halliburton. Both associated with American corruption. (yeah Pinoys don’t have a monopoly on kurakot!)
Just found this: Halliburton Watch.
@Nicholas: Yes, that too.
Thanks but no thanks. A million wouldn’t be enough. I’d have to sacrifice my principles as to how wrong this war is in the first place.
I think I’ll pass. $9000 isn’t worth risking your life for.
Si Migs naka ligtas sa Israel. Baka kaya sa Iraq. :)
goodluck to those who will be interested. Can’t take that job. Too risky over there.
@migs – i signed you up. good luck, buddy :P
hmmmm, not included in that adsense ad is… you should be meztizo and no facial hair. danger!
I have a kababayan who once worked in Basrah, Iraq. She wrote an article about her life there. It was in my old site. Check it out:

Is that true I am willing to work in Iraq for $9, 000 gosh yes I will risk my life
That’s probably for private military contractors like Halliburton. Check wikipedia or look for articles on that company… such a mess.
Ang malaing tanong.. buhay ka pa kaya after 1 month?
