hi there. as far as i know your baseband is still unlockable as of now (ultrasn0w – the one used to unlock phones – works with BB 01.59.00 on ip4 only). but the people behind the jailbreak are working on it as of now. saw a post about it :)

If you are worried about the warranty, all you need to do is to restore the device to it’s factory settings using iTunes. I’ve been using my iPod Touch 4G with 4.3.3 that has been jailbroken months ago, they’ve already released an untethered jailbreak before but it wasn’t available for the iPad2.
Done. Works flawlessly on my Touch. My first time to jailbreak, I am still amazed how easy it was, wow! To think that my colleagues paid a technician at the mall to jailbreak their 3Gs.

Tried it in my iPod touch 4g and didn’t work. After downloading Cydia,it just disappeared. Tried restarting but still didn’t work. Bah.

How safe is this? I’m planning to have this done on my iPod Touch 4G I recently bought. Is it reversible? I mean, if you want to have it back to the original non-jailbreak software, do you just uninstall that app?
You would need to restore your iPod to un-jailbreak it.
