How to setup or connect Smart Bro to a router?

If you are subscribed to the Smart Bro Plan 999, you can still connect or configure it to a router so you can share the internet connection to other WiFi devices in your house. See the step by step instructions below to setup Smart Bro with your WiFi router.

How to Configure Smart Bro with a Router:

Step 1. First you must connect the Ethernet cable from the smartbro antenna to the WAN/Internet port of the router.

Step 2. Connect your computer to one of the Ethernet ports of the router.

Step 3. Make sure that ur PC is set to Dynamic IP (Obtain IP automatically)

Step 4. On your Internet browser, type 192.168.1.1, leave username blank and password admin.

Step 5. On the router’s setup page, set the Internet connection type to Automatic Configuration (DHCP) or Obtain an IP Automatically.

Step 6. Save the settings.

Step 7. Check the Status Tab to check if the router was able to get the connection from SmartBro.

Step 8. If Automatic Configuration (DHCP) didnt work, set the router to Static IP. Take note of the IP address, subnet mask, default gateway, DNS 1 and 2 of your PC when its connected directly to SmartBro, then put it on the corresponding fields.

Hi yung LTE smartbro Evoluzn Po namin nawalan Ng signal. Red lang sya, kahit May load yung simcard. Almost a month na po. What do I need to do po? Badly needed your advice. Thanks po.

a) Open the browser
b) Type the IP address that provided on the manual enter button
c) Type the password
d) Click to the login
e) Select your network connection
f) Choose the internet and connect it

bka po matulungan nyo ako ung router ko naconnect ko na sa smart bro conopy kaso isa lng pwd gumamit kc lumalabas ung customer portal nya anu po ba dapat kong gawin para ma wla ung customer portal sayang kc binabayad ko 500 kada install sa router tapos 500 din ung router 6moths plang sira na agad router ko masyadong magastos kung laging ganyan

Hello,

Can you please help me out? I have brought a wifi router to my family so that they can connect all gadgets at home, (PANDI, BULACAN) However, whenever they connect the router, they have to go thru the same set-up (Name, REF, ACCOUNT NO. etc) online – WHY? My family gave up already and stop using the router, but it is not the router that has a problem since we setup everything at my home (MAKATI)

What seems to be the problem? Is it SMART BRO? Only one gadget can be connected on WIFI, if they tried to connect another one, they have to go to fillup all the form online again! Hassle!

sir yung connection namin smartbro. iinstallan sana namin ng router linksys e900.. nainstalled na namin pero wala siyang internet nadedetect nadin ng cp na may wifi. okay naman din yung signal niya.. wala lang siyang internet.. ano ba dapat gawin sir?
wala kasi kaming modem sir..

anyone here knows if there is a dsl to ethernet adpater converter? just got my modem+wifi router from a friend. i was planning to set it up to my smartbro. my problem ryt now is that the WAN/Internet port is a DSL port. i cant connect the ethernet cable from the canopy antenna of smartbro.

@zte, I’m trying to setup asus RT N13u B1 to my smartbro internet and only the pc has internet and no wifi detected. when I try to setup a static ip and copied the pc ip, subnet, default gateway is says “255.xxx.xxx.x is not a valid ip address” need your help.

Anyone here knows how to reconnect smart bro plan999, pls i need help to reconnect it because we just shifted to our new house.I am just a two month subscribed to this and it will be costly to pay P1450 to smart just to get internet connection.btw everything has been set-up already including the router, my only problem was that we dont have internet connection and it asks for log in id and password.any help would be very much appreciated.thanks.

This is a speedtest result of my 4G ROCKET WIFI PLUS ng Smartbro 0.58Mbps out of the publicly promised 20.0 Mbps!!! It’s been more than 1 month now since April 4 that Smartbro received by complaint on slow connection. But that F_____G company is not doing anything!!! Can anyone from the National Telecommunications Commission (c/o Secretary Mar Roxas) be sensitive enough to check the Smartbro’s HONESTY in terms of advertising 20.0Mbps but delivering to its customer a turtle-speed of 0.58Mbps or 2.9% ONLY of what this F_____G Smartbro advertises?

you need to reset the router because it has been used previously, so you won’t be able to guess the password.

the above data is for a new or unchanged password router.

when i enter the 192.168.1.1 my browser keep on saying error 504. so i tried looking in the command prompt and got this 192.168.0.1 it worked but when i type the password and username i still get error in password and username everytime.
