Samsung Keyboard Case: snap-on physical keyboard for Note 5, S6 Edge+

Samsung also showed us a custom case for the Galaxy Note and S6 Edge+ that comes with a physical keyboard. This will serve users who prefer a physical keyboard over virtual keys for full screen smartphones.

The keyboard case is a two-piece case with a regular protective case at the back and the keyboard at the front. Once it is snapped in place, the display is adjusted to shrink to the remaining 2/3 of the screen.

The keyboard does not need Bluetooth connection and does not require batteries as well. The handset automatically detects the keyboard when attached and tarnslates the physical taps right into the virtual keyboard beneath it.

When you don’t need the keyboard, you can quickly remove and snap it on the back side (effectively restoring the screen to full view).

The keys are soft and very usable — almost similar to the keyboard of the BB Bold or a Nokia E6. The keyboard case make the device a bit chunky but still comfortable to use.
