Apple has just made an announcement that its current CEO, Steve Jobs, has resigned from his post effective immediately and will be replaced by Tim Cook.
Steve sends this letter to the public:
To the Apple Board of Directors and the Apple Community:
I have always said if there ever came a day when I could no longer meet my duties and expectations as Apple’s CEO, I would be the first to let you know. Unfortunately, that day has come.
I hereby resign as CEO of Apple. I would like to serve, if the Board sees fit, as Chairman of the Board, director and Apple employee.
As far as my successor goes, I strongly recommend that we execute our succession plan and name Tim Cook as CEO of Apple.
I believe Apple’s brightest and most innovative days are ahead of it. And I look forward to watching and contributing to its success in a new role.
I have made some of the best friends of my life at Apple, and I thank you all for the many years of being able to work alongside you.

Tim Cook has had experience running as CEO of Apple in the past, when Jobs was on sick leave before so he’s the most logical replacement for Steve.
Jobs will remain as Chairman of the Board though so he’s not completely gone.
Apple stocks went down by a mere 5% after the announcement.
Question is, will he be as charismatic and effective as Steve?

BF: anak ng! double process email ko tapos download mo ulit? pano na lang kung wala ako email anu ka na? kala ku ba SMARTphone yan e bakit parang hindi smart/flexible ip4?
Katulong: sir saken direct transfer yan, kung email may direct download sa lockscreen bilis!
SCANDID: Hmm bkit may ganyan k inday?
KATULONG: Sir widgets/ customization entity tong mga to, pwede ko gawin lahat, at gawing shortcuts in one click at hindi pare-parehas itsura ng androids di tulad ng iphone parehas lng ng ipod touch at ibang iphone hehe!

KATULONG: OO sir dito may choices ka! hindi katulad ng iphone na para kayung mga kulto na iisa itsura uto-uto kay steve jobs,, parang Azkals puro porma pero walang silbi! haha
SCANDID: BILI NA KO HIGH-END ANDROID WLA NAMANG MAGAWA SA IPHONE KO KUNDI MINI-GAMES PARANG IPOD NG PANGBATA NA NILAGYAN NG PHONE! hayyss
haha natawa ako sa post mo scandid. that is why i prefer iPhone.
I will miss Steve Jobs. I think Cook will also do a good job like Steve =)
We will surely miss the man who made everything nice for technology fans. God speed to Steve Jobs.

Thanks to Steve Jobs for developing underdeveloped markets before like the mp3 and smartphone market. I hope na wag pilitin ni Tim Cook yung lawsuits nila ngayong napatunayan falsified documents nila.
