Would you buy an Apple iPhone if it looks like this?

From LoopRumors, a screenshot of a leaked Apple iPhone:

Apple iPhone

And no, not this iPhone.

Would you buy a phone with a touch pad instead of the regular keypad? Now, that would set us all back to 25 characters per minute from 120 characters per minute typing speed.

Sweet, glorious specs of the 11.6 millimeter device (that’s frickin’ thin, by the way) include a 3.5-inch 480 x 320 touchscreen display with multi-touch support and a proximity sensor to turn off the screen when it’s close to your face

A touch pad with an on-screen keyboard doesn’t look too nice. It looks like a waste of screen estate. I still prefer the rumored touch-screen iPods. Although it’s not a phone, I hope they’d do that on the phone instead.

Nah. A white Samsung Ultra with a Mac OS-skinned UI comes into mind.

Isn’t the “iPhone” a trademark of Cisco already?

I agree with J Angelo predicting that Apple would name its phones as “MacPhones” instead. ;)
