Been looking for something like this for some time now — a portable stand for mobile phones. This particular model, XStand, is for the iPhone and the iPod Touch.
Made up of solid aluminum construction, the XStand by Just Mobile is perfect for the table top or even the dashboard of a car.
The metal screw at the back can be adjusted so you can rotate the clamps to a full 360-degrees and orient the device at any angle. The aluminum body is heavy so it’s very stable when placed on flat surfaces while the clamps are made of rubber to snugly fit the iPhone in place.
I was thinking you can use some double-sided tape to position this somewhere in the car’s dashboard so you can easily operate the iPhone/iPod Touch when using the music/movie player or running Google Maps with GPS.
The XStand is a little on the pricey side though at Php1,950.
This is cool, just wondering where can i find this x-stand. will my iphone fit in if it has a rubber cover?
Nice! But I would think twice I guess before I try to have this fixed on a car’s dashboard because this is an invitation to a more accident-prone travel. Hehehe.
