My WordPress Image Hack managed to land a mention in BloggingPro. It’s highly likely that I was the first one to create the hack for WordPress. (I highly doubt some copycat got the hack somewhere else. Again no links for him.)
First time in 17 months of running Google AdSense that I got past the $100 barrier in just a month.
Just added a section to my blog and called it “Press”, listing down some worthwhile press news of me and several of my online projects.
My StudioTraffic account paid off! Kumpareng Alwell has been receiving his for a couple of months now.
My blog now tops Google’s search results for the word “Yuga” something quite hard to get especially if it’s a popular Indian term.
I missed 9Rules Networks‘ Round 2 of blog submissions. Maybe next time. 9Rules is a network blog, almost similar to what we’re doing with Pinoyblog, only that they’re a bit picky with blog submissions.

Hi Vin,

You need to go to gravatar.com and register for a Gravatar which will be tied up with your email address.

Registration for Yugatech has been enabled as well.

speaking of google site ranking, I read a post about how google site ranking works right now.

Looks like the Gravatar Sign-Up plugin is havign conflicts with the Subscribe to Comments. Will look for a fix.

@abe – i have Ad-Aware SE and Spybot Search & Destroy and always keep them updated. did some scanning but no thing found. ??? i tried signing up for a gravatar but i got errors.

btw, wanna ask you guys about this. once in a while, when i’m in my blog and i go from one page to another, i get this popup window with this in the address bar – “http://www.xxxtoolbar.com/ist/scripts/downloads_manager.php?pevent_type=onunload&retry=0&ref=&event_type=onunload&recurrence=weekly&retry=0&loadfirst=0&delayload=20&account_id=135849&adid=a1080662082” is this a virus or spyware? i don’t know where it came from and i always update my antivirus, scan my pc for spyware and adware. any of you guys have an idea? please enlighten me. hehe :D

I got an idea on how to make it to #1 but this is applicable only to people who are just starting to build a home in the w3…

1 think of a unique name
2 google it
3 if you got lots of results go back to step 1
4 if you got only a few result, then take the name
5 now, go to ploghost.com/order.php fill in the form and the rest will be history :D ;)

wow.. dati hindi ko man lang makita ang pangalan ko sa mga searches. pero ngayon, pag nitype mo ang “mr nice ash” sa google, the result is this “Comments Posted By mr nice ash”@yugatech. hehehe…. tapos sunod na yung pangalan ko. sa wakas.. hehehe.

pero pag “mrniceash”, first on the list ang site ko. ngayon ko lang nalaman to a. :)

Ok, speaking of WordPress, nasubukan ko na rin yung pinsan niya si b2Evolution which got more features by default (parang eh). Aside from that I have tried playing with Nucleus (plain and simple) and Xoops. Ang haba ng installation ng Xoops. Well, anyway, I’m not sure if you can make WP themes and plugins work with b2evo (or that would make additional tweaking).

Yep, pwede domain lang sa plogHost. Yung cost depende sa TLD. Kung tipong .com, .org, at .net 600 pesos a year.

Ay, about sa copycat, ayaw naming ilagay yung link niya dito baka dumami lang readers niya pam-publicity hehehe. E-mail na lang kung gusto mo hehe :)

So far isa lang naman ang ka competensiya ko na Fleeb sa Google. Nag e-mail na ako sa kanya noong HS pa lang ako tapos sabi niya naisip niya lang ang pangalan, meanwhile nick ko talaga yun from my name. Pero ok lang no conflicts naman.

sakin naman yung “retz” jusme german and belgian ang kalaban ko when i started blogging i was in the 11th page. 1 month after 5th page kaka-check ko lang ngayon nasa 1st page na 5th query result nyahaha, malapit-lapit na sa numero uno. As for retzwerx hehe walang prob.

First day of school, I wrote this on the whiteboard for my Web Authoring Class:

â€¢ Plagiarize and expect a failing grade from me. or worst, grounds for their dismissal.

My studes knows it would make their life easier to fail a quiz or two ’cause they forgot to study, than to copy someone’s work (may it be an answer sheet or a webpage).

kuya abe napirata ka na naman! talagang marami pang mal-edukado sa w3, isama mo na sa issue na yan sa susunod na iBlog-con, diba? bloggers need to do something about this.
