Since I got abroad, and i almost forgot to use my late simcard number for 2 years. How can I retrieve or rather bring back this number (0920xxxxxxx) and to use it again..?

Most carriers will offer you a replacement SIM card in exchange for a lost, broken or expired SIM as long as you can prove that the SIM or number is yours.

Just bring the original SIM with you or if it is lost, just bring the card holder (or the SIM card bracket) where the phone number is printed along with an affidavit of loss to any of the Business Centers of your telco.

They may charge you a minimal fee for the replacement SIM.

My 3rd gen iPod Touch overheated in my pocket. I was listening to music and it still has roughly 10% battery left. Then my iPod suddenly turned itself off and after 5 minutes it overheated. When I got home, it already cooled down but it won’t turn itself on and my iTunes can’t detect it. Charging it via USB would make it heat up. Can our PowerMac Centers here can repair it? Thanks is advance.

You can actually bring your iPod Touch to any of the Apple Premium Stores, Power Mac Center included, to have it checked.

They will then forward it to the main cervice center or office for check-up to determine the problem and recommend a solution.

Since this is a 3rd generation iPod Touch, your warranty is already expired so you’ll have to pay for the repairs.

Sometimes, they might even tell you the fees are expensive that you are better off buying a new iPod Touch.

Sir, gud day. Ask lang po ako for your advice since u you have been able to test more or less all tablets available in the Phil market. I want to purchase a tablet that would cater to my need for productivity first and entertainment second. yung best po for MS office creation and editing. preferably with USB docks dn. tapos fast yung processing. hindi po kasi ako techie masyado so limited lang po understanding ko sa techie talk like the specs hehehe(sensya na po). so im leaving it to the experts and asking for your advice. by the way po, i was leaning towards getting the samsung galaxy tab 10.1 once it is released pero im not sure if it is the smartest choice to cater my needs. i recently heard of redfox wizpad dual OS. what do u think po of that? thank u po for your time and i’ll be waiting po for your expert advice.

Hi! I don’t know if you do this kind of request but I still tried LOL. I was wondering if you could help me find that perfect smartphone since I am not a tech type of person. And it makes me more confused looking at every single phone there is to match my needs. I know some of them would sound silly, but I think they are essential for me.

So here are the things I want my phone to have:

- Wi-fi enabled (one that is free of charge and can be used the moment you open your phone haha)
- The interface or the look of the sites I would be browsing should be AT MOST similar to how they look on a normal computer.
- Fast surfing to all sites, including Blogger. (Am I asking to much?)
- Answering machine to prevent missed calls.
- GPS
- Lightweight (So being bulky is a no-no)
- Basic Microsoft office tools

I know these may seem an impossible smartphone to find, but I do hope that there exists such phone here in our country or elsewhere

Sir bakit wla po google+ na app sa google market? Samsung P1010 po gamit ko. Wla rin po sa iTunes. Akala ko meron na itunes. Pra po sa iPad ko.

Google+ app on the Android Market is not yet available in the Philippines. However, you can install it directly to your Android phone or tablet by downloading the Google+ apk file (you can get it here).

Google+ for the iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad is not also available in the Philippines iTunes Store. You can switch to the US iTunes store to be able to see it and download (if you have a US iTunes account).

I have had the original samsung wave phone for almost a year now and still I haven’t really fully exhausted its full features. I would just want to know how to set it up as a mobile wifi hotspot
(tethering) and what service provider can provide that service for me?

WiFi tethering on the Samsung Wave can be activated by downloading the tethering app from the Samsung App Store (http://www.samsung.com/ph/samsung-apps/index.do).

Have not tried it before though so just browse over ir search for it in the Samsung website.

Any carrier will do (Globe, Sun, Smart) as it’s the device that shares 3G internet over WiFi. Just be mindful that 3G connection data rates will apply.
