Honda CR-Z coming soon, price starts at Php1.4 Million

The Honda CR-Z compact hybrid electric automobile that is powered by a hybrid gasoline-electric powertrain. Honda is marketing the CR-Z as an eco-friendly sport hybrid coupe.

The Honda CR-Z is powered by a 1.5L i-VTEC SOHC inline-4 engine and with an optimum fuel consumption of about 25km per liter of gas.


Honda CR-Z

According to sources from Honda Philippines, the CR-Z will be priced competitively, starting at Php1.4 Million.

Honda CR-Z prices:
Standard (Manual Transmission) – Php1,400,000
Standard (CVT with Paddle Shifters) – Php1,500,000
Modulo (Manual Transmission) – Php1,500,000
Modulo (CVT with Paddle Shifters) – Php1,600,000
MUGEN (Manual Transmission) – Php2,000,000
MUGEN (CVT with Paddle Shifters) – Php2,100,000


Honda CR-Z Mugen

The CR-Z will be available in 6 colors — White Pearl, Crystal Black, Polished Metal, Milano Red, and exclusive colors for the CR-Z the Turquoise Blue and Cosmo Flash Violet.


Honda CR-Z Modulo

All 28 dealers across the Philippines will start accepting reservations on April 26 and deliveries will begin in August 2013. Reservation fee is pegged at Php25,000.

    napakamura lang nito sa dito US tsaka tagal na here yan. pag dating sa pinas luxury car. its only a two seater car. mahal ang kuryente hindi advisable ang hybrid sa pinas.

      Do you actually plug in this car to your home kuryente? Or it recharges itself using the brakes and some power from car engine?

    Modulo is equppied with Honda Modulo Aerokit
    Mugen is equipped with Aero Kit, Exhaust System and Alloy Wheels

    The beautiful picture above is not the same as in Honda website. I suppose it might be the top-end model. I like the grill and the exhaust pipes. Am not sure what else is different.

    The picture in Honda website doesn’t look as good.

    Starting price is around US$20k. Affordable at that price (in the US). But can’t afford the price being sold here in the Phils. Makes me want to live in the US instead.
