Despite all that bad press Google has been getting in the past couple of months, they still never fail to douse the heated discussions with a warm Christmas greetings. And here’s what I got.
During last Christmas season, several high-power probloggers have revealed that Google sent them a nice cardboard-thin USB drive. Well, I didn’t get one. Except this:

I got a similar greeting card last year.

Maybe I need to be in their UPS Club to get those premium gifts. In any case, this may be the last greeting card I’ll get from them. I’m slowly moving out from AdSense and into direct ads and other alternatives.
Anybody else got a greeting card from them?

I got a big Pagerank Smackdown for my 2 blogs 2 days ago. Google shot it down from 4 to zilch! LOL
But hey! Business has been a lot better eversince! So Thanks for the smackdown Google! I knew you were going to send me at least 1! Haha!
Interesting, Abe! I’m seeing more Pinoy bloggers slowly remove AdSense from some of their sites. I wonder if this is a trend?
Save that card from Google. A bit of Pinoy internet history.
I wish to receive that Christmas card even in summer. hehehehe. Moving away from Adsense is surely a bold move for a publisher especially that most publishers now depend on Adsense for earnings.
Do I hear the Big G singing, “babalik ka rin” (Just kidding, Sir Abe!)LOL
hi.. wala ako ganyan ah. greetings galign google? sana meron din ako.
at least may Tagalog greeting dun sa card! he he
I received a postcard to verify my identity so that I can get my Adsense earnings for the very first time. No Holday card though.
For people who are getting good traffic, they can wean themselves from Google and just take sponsors and link Ads when they have been punished by the GOOG gods with a low PR.
