Google has just updated it’s TOS/AUP to include some additional changes in the terms for publishers. The exciting part here is the AdSense Referral Program which has just been introduced as well.
Referrals offer you a new revenue opportunity while increasing your users’ awareness of useful products and services. Adding a referral button to your website enables you to generate additional earnings by directing users to download or sign up for products such as AdSense.
When a publisher that signed up for AdSense through your referral earns their initial $100.00 and is eligible for payout, we’ll credit your account with $100.00.
They’ve added another tab inside the AdSense account for the referral buttons. I placed mine on the sidebar as well. If you still don’t have a Google AdSense account, go sign up now!

Guess this is Google’s response to other programs like Chitika’s Eminimalls and the likes which have been taking a share of the ads services in blogs.
I believe so. YPN and Chitika has been slowly eating away Google’s share of high earning publishers.
But with this program, who else would you be referring since most people already has an AdSense account.
