Linklog tracks Adsense Clicks

Listen to article

How would you like to know which specific ads are being clicked in your blog? Adsense channel tracking is cool enough and it’s built-in if you’ve implemented it. But what if you know exactly where the clicks go? What products, sites, service your visitors fancied and clicked on (and maybe even be able to extrapolate how much the ads are worth).

BlogFlux’s LinkLog does just that. It also lets you get a breakdown (on a per URL basis) for channels, formats, and pages the ad was clicked. Very useful for in-depth and on-page AdSense optimization. I was lucky to be given a preview of it last week it’s just cool.

Anyway, if you’re signed up with anyone of BlogFlux’s services (i.e. MapStats, Directory, LinkLog), I’m sure you got the newsletter announcing the Pro version as well.

The Pro version might cost you around $45 a year (or $4.77/month) but if you’re getting over a hundred bucks in Adsense earnings every month, I think it’s worth the investment.

Catches variables from the URL, I guess.

Wow! But how does that work without rewriting the Adsense scripts? And violating the TOS?
