When did you start with AdSense?

Google launched AdSense on March of 2003. Just over two years now and it has already made waves across the internet. never in the wildest dream that AdSense would become the bread-and-butter for a lot of bloggers (and publishers for that matter).

I only learned about it about January of 2004 and by February, I already signed up and got $16.14 for that month. Didn’t really believed in it that time, until I got my first cheque 3 months later.

The rest, they say, is history.

So, how did you learn about AdSense and when did you start using it?

I signed up only last Dec. 2004 and earned less than $1 that month. Then after reading some success stories, I got motivated, and started to enhance my existing websites and to make some serious one. I got my first check 4 months later. After that, I am receiving a check from Google every month. 6 months later (this month), my earning from Google is almost more than twice of my regular salary from working in a multinational company. Adsense is really fun and easy money making hobby. But, just a warning to everyone, dont attempt to rely your living on Google adsense because its future is really unpredictable.

Demmet. I should have signed up earlier. I don’t know… I guess I never really thought it’s a good money-making scheme till now.

There’s nothing to invest except your time to write a blog or put up a high traffic site.

Yeah, you have to invest 1% money and 99% time. But, if you are already in there, this would be 1% money and 99% enjoying blog. :)

I started November 2003 and at that time they didn’t allow blogs. I just used it for one of my resource sites. It’s just recently I’ve added to my blog.

noemid, yeah back then personal sites and blogs aren’t allowed into the program. Connie had to argue with the Adsense rep before she got her blogs accepted.
