Edsamail really sucks!!! Man I just paid for P660 for 2 accounts but their service was delayed. You need to fax them the receipt to activate your email but still they haven’t informed me about this. Is there any way I can sue the company for not providing me the good service?

Edsamail has a spotty service plan. First, we were forced to pay and endure advertisements, which contradicted the original contract I agreed to, which guaranteed Edsamail to be free. Commercials pay for TV, advertisers pay the majority for newspapers, and so on, so why do customers keep Edsamail running, while advertisements provide minimum financial support? That puts a burden on consumers instead of corporations, who can provide a lot more than the average joe.

Finally, the service disruption earlier this year is completely unacceptable. I lost communication for several weeks, with nobody at Edsamail making an effort to inform me, as a paying customer, about what was going on with my messages or incoming email. Second, they try to win me back by offering me a few more days of service?

It looks to me that Edsamail has slumped to depths of no return. Customers are no longer first, even though we pay, and their lack of motivation to inform me that I could not access my account has forced me to switch to another provider.

Communication is essential to me and my business. I need a company that can meet my needs, and that is something this company hasn’t been able to provide since the middle of this year.

im one of edsamail’s ex-employees. it’s so sad to hear that this company did not survive. it had a lot of promise and a lot of great developers. if only sales team met their target, this would’ve not happened. we were working on version 2 of edsamail then and it looked so good and has lots of great features. a real loss.

Apparently Edsamail is back online and they have this to say:

If you would like to speak to a Customer Service Representative, you may call 729-5551 or 729-5735, dial 0, 160 – 170. You may also send us a text message with your name and contact number to the following mobile numbers: 0917-8161440 or 01978161451. We are available to answer your calls from Mondays – Fridays, 9am – 8pm.

Their office address is Unit 4 Bldg B Karrivin Plaza #2316 Pasong Tamo Extension, Makati City.

I too am a victim of this. I just paid last May and this is what they do to me?!?!?

If I get my hands on that number, I shall ask if they shut down or what…

Im former edsamail subscriber…. Sayang! I was about to reactivate pa naman my account again. But I coulnt’ find the website anymore…. Hay…. Anyway, Its a good thing that this happned first before i signd-up again… I think Edsamail is not stable anymore as it used to be. Can please someone confim what really happned???

No, they haven’t closed up shop. They are still operational in Makati but their servers crashed due to hardware problems. They expect the problem to be resolved by tomorrow (June 24).
