Google Servers Overloaded

Listen to article

Google needs to add a couple more thousand servers on its racks. Been getting a lot of these 502 Server Errors lately. This time, it’s the Ad Manager I can’t access for several hours now.

Imagine if these crawls up into GMail or Google Search?

502 Service Temporarily Overloaded: Server congestion; too many connections; high traffic. Keep trying until the page loads.

Actually, there’s been several incidents when the Search service was down but it was for shorter periods (several minutes). There’ve been some isolated incidents before (like the time when several regions in Mindanao disconnected from Google and its services) but those were related to DNS issues than server overloads.

Undeniably believe that which you said. Your favorite reason appeared to be on the web the simplest thing to be aware of. I say to you, I definitely get annoyed while people think about worries that they just don’t know about. You managed to hit the nail upon the top as well as defined out the whole thing without having side effect , people could take a signal. Will probably be back to get more. Thanks

Actually it happens to Gmail as well, at least to the server I’m at, which was one of the first servers of Gmail.

Got used to it :p

Yeah, I got an email notice about Google AdSense going on maintenance. But seeing error pages on the big G is something you don’t find everyday.
