Adobe Media Player and Adobe TV

Adobe Labs has just released a new competing media player for online and offline videos. Adobe Media Player 1.0 is being positioned as a direct competitor to MS Windows Media Player, Apple iTunes and RealNetworks’ RealPlayer. Will it make a dent in the already saturated media player market?

Paypal says avoid Safari browser

Paypal’s Chief Information Security Officer recommends everyone who has a Paypal account to avoid using Apple’s Safari browser. Apparently, Safari is still way behind in security features compared to Internet Explorer and Firefox.

Do you trust your Hit Counters?

In the early days, people loved to display a huge block of yellow-over-black hit counter on their website. Up until today, some still do that to show visitors how many hundreds of thousands of visits their site got. Others, just love to use them cute chicklets. For most bloggers, that chicklet has been replaced by the Google/Feedburner subscriber counter button.
