Philippine Social Security System: SSS Online Philippines
You can check your SSS contributions online by ff. these simple instructions:
Text SSS
Text-SSS is a short messaging service (SMS)-based information service system that allows members to inquire about their number of contributions, status of loan applications, salary loan payment period and loan balances using text messaging.
For a minimal text fee of P2.50 per inquiry sent through text messaging, a member can now have an alternate means of getting information without having to visit an SSS office.
Text-SSS is available for Globe, Smart and Talk ‘N Text subscribers only.
To receive updates on contributions, the member should key in the following text message, filling in the appropriate information for SS number and date of birth:
SSS (space) CONTRI (space) SS NUMBER (space) DATE OF BIRTH [using the MMDDYYYY format], then send to 288 (Smart/ Talk ‘N Text) or 2931 (Globe).
To determine the status of a member’s salary loan application, the member should key in the following text message, filling in the appropriate information for SS number and date of birth:
SSS (space) SLSTAT (space) SS NUMBER (space) DATE OF BIRTH [using the MMDDYYYY format], then send to 288 (Smart/ Talk ‘N Text) or 2931 (Globe).
To get information on salary loan payment period, the member should key in the following text message, filling in the appropriate information for SS number and date of birth:
SSS (space) LPERIOD (space) SS NUMBER (space) DATE OF BIRTH [using the MMDDYYYY format], then send to 288 (Smart/ Talk ‘N Text) or 2931 (Globe).
To get information on loan balance, the member should key in the following text message, filling in the appropriate information for SS number and date of birth:
SSS (space) LOANBAL (space) SS NUMBER (space) DATE OF BIRTH [using the MMDDYYYY format], then send to 288 (Smart/ Talk ‘N Text) or 2931 (Globe).

I need some help cause I want to check my account online but it seems the SSS online site is not accessable anymore?..How can that possibly be?..Since last month I’ve been trying to check the site but same result..
I am working abroad and I had not continued remitting for two years but for now I’ve decided to do so but I want to check if my SSS account has not been closed?

Hi i would like to follow up when are you going to issue SSS Id again? I lost my SSS id back in Oct 2007, immediately applied for a replacement in the same month. But until now i havent recd my ID yet. I kept on going to SSS Cubao branch to make follow-up, but they keep on telling me that the machine being used to make these ID are not working. So when can i recd my ID? I dont think you need more than 6 months to replace my SSS Id

hello,
i would also want to check if my former employer have already posted my full payment for my company loan. I’am now working in another company. I just want to make sure that they have cleared my accountability with you.
In addition to that, when will you be releasing my new id. I enrolled for a replacement last december 2007, and its july 2008 now.
I also tried texting just to check again, i even followed the correct way of texting you, but the reply was the system is not available.

your online services provides a lot of inconvenience to people.. like in our company, not all employees are well educated about online services..sobrang bagal ng system ang hirap pumasok… and not all people have computers they have to rent pa and how much is the cost for renting 20 pesos per hour then aabutin ka ng 2 hours para lang makapag register..i would suggest that you should also create a customer service call center so that people can just call you guys to inquire about their contribution, loans etc.we are trying for almost a week to register our employees online but your system is too weak.. dapat hindi nyo muna pinatupad yung ganito kasi ngyon, according to you one of the rep from your sss offices we can no longer inquire our contribution there.. ok lang yun kung ok ang system nyo online.. ibalik nyo muna yung system before if you system are fixed then thats the time that you change the system..
hope you can do something about this…

di kasi ako maka loan dahil sa deliquent housing loan pinapunta ako ng sss sa NHA pero piababalik naman nila ako sa sss dahil di daw sila responsable sa mga papeles sabi ng sss punta ako NHA para pumirma ng for closure e di daw po nila alam yung papeles nag sara na kasi ang PALMERA dahil sa pagkalugi papano po ba ang dapat kung gawin kailangan ko po kasing mapirmahan ng for closure para maka pag salary loan na po ako paki advice lang po gumagalang MR.RAMIL R AGUILAR

mas maganda talga ung dati site madali lang now kumplikado gaya ng akin mali na send kong email add kaya do ko maretrieve yung passwords ko.anu solusyon dun ayaw naman pag nagregister uli ako aywaw tanggapin.wala naman makontak na taga sss kung panu gagawin..

sobrang pahirap naman nyan sa mga tao kailangan ba in a way magalit lahat ng tao sa sss system na bago!…unfair sa mga taong gustong malaman yung contribution nila…wag ganyan kasi di lang kame naaapektuhan baka someday mas kayo yung mahirapn o baka naman yung mga nahuhulog na contribution e hindi tlga sa sss so dpat gumawa kayo ng tama as long as mapapabuti lahat ng mga tao….

Malaking tulong po kasi ang online inquiry, no need to walk in the to the SSS office and spending hours doon para lang magupdate! I just want to know if my SSS number is still active because its been years since my last employment in a private company. I want to change my status from employed to voluntary. I tried registering to the new system, but I do not know my former employer’s SSS ID.
Any suggestions how to make this easier and more convenient for people who are willing to pay their dues (SSS contributions, I mean) and in effect give SSS employees their salaries? Thanks!

Having it online is really a great IDEA we check our accounts without leaving the comforts of our Homes or Offices, we can download the forms we need. That is if the site is maintained or working even. having a site is not simply having a advertisement on the net,
I’m a web developer thats why I can’t imagine how this can be, maintaining a website is not really that complicated 1 IT can do all that work, so whats causing all the delay & hassle.

Nag-register ako sa My.SSS pero hanggang ngayon hindi ko pa nere-receive sa email yung password ko. I tried registering again pero sabi, “user ID already exists” at “email address already exists.” I registered once more using a different user ID and another email address, pero sabi naman eh, “SS number already exists.” Until now wala pa rin akong nare-receive na my.SSS password sa email inbox ko; I have been checking it repeatedly. I need to check on my loan. What will I do? This has been very inconvenient.

Meron na naman bang anomalyang nangyayari dyan sa SSS website. Mukhang hindi na maiayos ng tama ang webserver nila. Laging DOWN ni hindi na ba kayang ma-ONLINE ‘yan.

Ang problema di na ako makapasok sa pangalawang login screen. Hindi ba pwedeng one time log-in na lang. Sobra naman ang security kasi kaylang 2X pa mag-login.

my gawd! i had my ss id replaced last aug 07 (take note! aug 07), until now wala pa. and i paid for it. i also need my esi and employment history but the site is always unavailable. I created an account, but it i didn’t get any password. How many years before they send the password? i need my esi and emp history ASAP!
ur system sucks, ur services sucks! better do something about it. alot of people are complaining already. u dont do prinouts anymore, but ur system sucks. Sana ok lahat, meaning, people can easily create their account, download stuff, check whatever, before nio ginawa un policy nio na u will no longer give printouts.

hello, i just want to ask kelan kaya ung tentative date na magiging ok na ung sss… kasi i was to file my Maternity, and ndi nila tinatanggap kasi nga daw offline… then yung binigay nilang number sa ken eh ndi naman pla phone number ng sss, wrong number daw ako.. ano ba to… alangan naman always ako punta dun tapos offline naman, hirap naman nito… mahal pamasahe…
lam nyo if di nyo magawa ng maayos yang databank ng sss pagawa nyo na lang ng libre sa mga genius n mga programers natin…. you will be proud to them… haha…

i’ve been trying to register to the site so that i can (hopefully) access info re: my dormant sss acct. but the form says: Please provide any SS Employer ID/Household SS Number where you worked for at least six months – my previosly company has shut down 7 years ago. where in the world will i get it? the only sss related doc. that i have is my sss (paper)id. does this mean i will never get to access my acct info online? hope you could suggest a solution. thanks

pa check nga ang sss contribution ko. at kung allowed na ba ako sa pension. kailangan ko pa bng mag tuloy sa contribution kc di na ako nakapaghulog more than 4 yrs ilang na ba ang naihulog ko sa sss. puede na ba akong magpension. o kailangan kop pa ang magtuloy na maghulog sa sss.puede advice mo akokung ano ang maganda paki check mo nga ang file ko dyan sa sss.

i’m a member of SSS too but I can’t check through online becos your website doesn’t exist. What is wrong?? I just want to know my contribution so pls do something sothat we can check our sss contribution or whatever!! Do your duty!! I open all the website w/c is connect on this but it’s all nonsense& it’s not really workin. I read all their comments and I laugh they’re so angry and I know you know what’s the reason. I’ve been contributing to the system for about 30 plus years and I am not employed anymore since Nov last year. My question is do I still need to continue my contribution to be able to get a pension or is there a max number of contributions that a member can enjoy pension if he reach that max number? If there is do I qualify?

ako po ay isang empleyado ng bangko,sa microfinance department po ako. sa pagkokolekta ko po hindi inaasahang naholdap ako ay nabaril. sinagutan po ng bangko ang gamot at hospital bill,tuloy din po ang sweldo ko habang akoy leave ng 1 1/2 months. inasikaso ko po ang mga form sa pagcclaim sa SSS subalit ng dumating na po ay napag-alaman ko na sa bangko ito mapupunta… ang tanong ko po, tama lang po ba na sa kanila un mapunta?

Retirement Benefits. – (a) A member who has paid at least one hundred twenty (120) monthly contributions prior to the semester of retirement and who: (1) has reached the age of sixty (60) years and is already separated from employment or has ceased to be self-employed; or (2) has reached the age of sixty-five (65) years, shall be entitled for as long as he lives to the monthly pension: Provided, That he shall have the option to receive his first eighteen (18) monthly pensions in lump sum discounted at a preferential rate of interest to be determined by the SSS.

kainis last month ko pa kylangan ng ss contribution ng asawa ko. until now hindi prin ako makakuha. lagi kasing down ang website ng sss. Tanong ko lang bakit ganon? Your service is indeed as fast as the turtle walking down the road. Sabi ko naman bakit po ganun sobrang bagal at kailangan pang mag register sa registration pa lang eh kailangan na ng Employeer ID. hindi naman nia sinasabi kng panu makakakuha nun. I have submitted last Aug. 5, 2008 a form at the SSS branch in Novaliches, to transfer my bank account from Chinabank-Southmall to Chinabank, SM Fairview acct No. 2161377311 as I I have transferred residence from Las Piñas to Novaliches, Caloocan and have closed my bank account at SM-Southmall but SSS continued to remit my pension to SM Southmall. Please correct.

ON REGISTERING, SSS SENT ME CONFIRMATION AND PASSWORD IN THEIR FIRST EMAIL. I TRIED THE PASSWORD IT DID NOT WORK. THEY KEPT SENDING EMAILS WITH VARIOUS PASSWORDS. I TRIED ALL PASSWORDS BUT DID NOT WORK. I PAINSTAKINGLY TRIED CALLING THE HOTLINE EVERYDAY BUT THEY ARE ALWAYS BUSY. I HAVE SAVED ALL THEIR EMAILS.
I JUST FEEL THEY ARE NO LONGER IMPLEMENTING THE ONLINE INQUIRIY SYSTEM SO THEY MAKE IT HARD FOR US. I DON’T WANT TO THINK NA NANLOLOKO LANG SILA.
I WILL TRY SA TEXT. PAG DI PA UMUBRA. WE WILL FILE COMPLAINT WITH THE PROPER AUTHORITIES AND ALERT ALL MEDIA

My mother died las July 30, 2008. We are trying to get my mother’s SS no.. She was employed at El Grande in BF Paranaque, hence she had contributions at SSS for more than 3 yrs. The problem is that we are having problem is getting her death and funeral benefits because we cannot provide her SSS no. We are trying to get her SSS no in Roxas Blvd and Pque Branch, they have the same answers -’ MA’AM HINDI PO KAMI PEWEDE MAGBIGAY NG SSS NO. KASI PO PATAY NA PO SIYA -ME KAAKIBAT NA BENEPSIYO PO YUN – ‘ the reason why we are requesting for her SSS no because we want to apply for her deatha nd funeral, what is the point of giving of a member contributing to your office then when its time to enjoy such benefit, you’ll answer such a dumb answer . Then a very rude answer from your good office @ Roxas Boulevard – “e bakit ba naman kasi ngayon nyo lang yan aasikasuhen, ngayong me problema mo” – is this the kind of service a memeber can get from you????!!! I know that you have to be discreet but even if we can provide all the evidences proving that we are related and all, you still don’t want to provide us the sss number because you do not want to provide the benefits that is earned by my mother. If your office would not provide that, then I will try to look for legal cousnel regarding this

nakakinis na talaga yang sss, napakatagal nila magrelease ng ID,ang sabi dati sa akin ng mag pa ID ako pwede daw magloan kahit walang ID,ipakita lang daw ung stub.tpos ngayon hindi na pwede. ano ba yan!! tpos napakabagal pa mag browse ng website nila,naka sign-up na ako,ang sabi isesend daw sa email ko ung passwod until now wala pa,e papano ko makikita ung premium contributions ko?dati hindi nman ganyan,ngayon sobrang higpit na palpak nman.ayusin nman sana ninyo serbisyo nyo.

FYI, the link for registration is no longer part of yugatech,
However. The OLD SYSTEM is more RELIABLE compared to the new SSS ONLINE. Their site is quite updated but experiencing the registration process $.U.C.K.$….
Parang palpak ung nag setup ng system ng registration. I tried registering one of my relatives and It appears to be registered on their database but the password should be sent to the email in REALTIME. requesting of another pass word will just give you a message that your username or e-mail does not exist.

gusto ko lang po ipaalam na bilisan nyo po yung systema ng pamamalakad nyo para naman po walang maabala, example yung pagkuha ng sss ID o di kaya pagkuha iba pang kailangan ng mga tao sana naman po gumawa kayo ng paraan para mapabilis ang mga gawain nyo at sana po magkaroon kayo ng panibagong systema para mapabilis ang trabaho. sana naman po ay mapansin nyo sa mga hinaing namin maraming salamat po.
at kung may mga paraan na mapabilis ang pag-iinqire ng mga tao sana naman po makita namin ang lahat ng ito thru internet.

i had about 15 years sss contributions share already and currently stop payment as i knew that i have finished the 10 years payment required to avail the retirement pension. i was informed that i have to be a continuing payment member to avail my sickness benefit there in the Philippines….THIS IS RIDICULOUS AND FOUL NAMAN. You have the same ruling with Philhealthcare…had paid so much as my SSS medicare were transferred to Philhealth and when i want to avail for it, i cannot as at that time i lost my job alredy and am not a continuing payment member, WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO US? And now I am now an OFW and was operated with my myoma here in abroad, i would like to know if i can avail my sickness benefit and what form i should fill in. do i have to translate the medical records from spanish to english. Accordingly, i may not avail this again as i am not a continuing payment member…is it not that 10 years is the sole requirement, why are you having new regulation again? CAN I STILL AVAIL IT OR NOT? kindly check your SSS branch ’cause here in Baguio SSS had a machine where people can swipe their SSS id and you can check your account there and print your SSS loan or contribution.

HI there, hope the Legal Counsel of SSS branch either Makati or Cubao QC) will help me on my problem for my not remitting ITI Global REsources (formerly, INDUSTRIAL TECHNOLOGISTS, INC.)my SSS Contribution since the time I was employed in that company..for your info, ffg are the year of non remittance of my premiums; year 2000 (jan-sept) & 2001 (may-dec) – 2005 (feb.). Thus I kept on txting to follow-up thru Ms. Ma. Rowena Castillo-Clemente, at pinapasabi ko yun kay Ms. Giselle De Guzman, Asst. Manager for F & A, pero feeling ko binabalewala lang nila…nagkakandahaba lang leeg ko sa kakaantay ng reply nila, pero la nangyayari. sabi ko sa sarili ko, dapat pala nakisabay na ko sa mga nagreklamo, para na-forced silang magbayad gaya ng iba kong kasamahan which Ive heard nabayaran nila, & fully paid na rin sila ng mga unpaid salaries & wages. Well as an avid user of the system, i think that this new system provides more security to the user for a fact that it requires the receipt no or SBR no upon registration. its a bit confusing at first but here are the steps:
1. open SSS website
2. click My.SSS tab and choose register
3. supply all the info needed esp the SBR or receipt of payment within the last 6months
4. then just wait for the password to be sent from SSS (usually within 24hrs)
5. once you have the password then open the SSS website again
6. click My.SSS tab and choose user login……it will give you option to change your password.
7. now everytime you need any info regarding your acct from SSS, all you have to do is log in and all the info is available.

Hi guys, this is a follow up comment on this site and i would like to remind you to avoid revealing your SSS number online. there would be no point for the security of the newly enhanced/improved system if you people would just give out your sss number on-line….you might be surprised if you will be having a loan balance without even applying for a loan yourself.
ask if in doubt or confused with the system before complaining about it.
Just get your SBR payment number from your employer and you can have an access from SSS website.

Nakapag register naman po ako sa SSS, pero nung nag log in na ulet ako sa “Online Inquiry” laging lumalabas itong message na ito:
“Your connection attempt was not successful, try again.
Reason: User Name (**********) (JDBC Ver.Error, could not connect to DB- java:comp/env/jdbc/pooled/SSSDS not found in UserAuthenticationModule) ; nested exception is javax.naming.NameNotFoundException: java:comp/env/jdbc/pooled/SSSDS not found in UserAuthenticationModule”
Bakit laging ganito? e samantalang naka pag register successfully na ako at nag change pass na rin ako. Pag ka log-in mo sa SSS website, kelangan pang mag log-in sa online inquiry ulit which is palpak naman.

wala talagang kinabukasan ang Pilipinas. Ang daming magagaling na developers doon pa sa hindi. Bakit ba kasi may mga taong malapit sa gobyerno.
If you are not sure of what you are doing then don’t do it. Test ninyo muna bago ninyo i-publish.
Tapos yong mga errors niyo pa hindi friendly, napaka technical. Anong pakialam namin sa errors na iyan?

bakit nung nag log in ako sa sss online naka-log in ako eh nung nag online inquiry na ko, hindi na ko makalog in hindi raw tama yung tinype ko edi inulit ko pero ayaw na… tska bakit kelangan pang mag-log in uli sa online inquiry? dalawang beses mag la-log in…. tsambahan na nga lang kung mag online ang sss, tapos pahirap pa sa pag log in.. hassle naman yun!

nag request ako ng bagong ID on October 2007 sa SSS Manila (near SM City Manila)dahil nagpalit ako ng name. sabi sa akin ng SSS, mga 2 to 3 months lang daw isesend na nila ang bago kong ID sa company address na nakalagay sa application ko. Mas matagal daw kasi kung sa province kaya yung company address na din ang pinili ko. After 3 months, wala pa din ako natatanngap kaya nagpa follow-up na ako, pero wala pa din daw.
Nagkataon naman na natanggap ako para magtrabaho abroad. Bumalik ako sa SSS Manila to follow-up at magrequest na baka pwede mapabilis dahil nga aalis na ako ng February 2008. Pero hindi daw yun pwede. Nagtry din ako na papalitan yung delivery addres at gawin na lang na yung address ko sa province para diretso sa bahay namin pero hindi din daw pwede. Wala akong ibang option? Eh hindi ko naman pwede i-postpone ang pag alis ko at pagtrabaho sa abroad para lang sumabay sa kabagalan ng SSS di ba?
Umalis na nga ako ng February 2008 pero nakikisuyo ako sa friend ko na officemate ko din dati na ipa-follow-up nya yung ID ko kasi baka nga bigla din dumating yung ID ko sa dati kong pinapasukan. At ginagawa naman nya. Halos every month ay tumatawag sya sa SSS at nagpa follow-up, laging wala pa ang sinasabi. Tapos ngayong month ng December 2008, ang sabi daw sa kanya ni Alfred De Guzman ng SSS Manila ay noon pang September 2008 ipinadala ng SSS ang ID ko at since hindi na ko connected sa company ay ibinalik na sa kanila at kung hindi ko daw make-claim yung ID agad agad ay i-schedule na para i-shred.
Tama ba yun? after ng napaka tagal kong paghihintay ay ise-shred? ayaw naman nila ibigay sa friend ko kahit pa magpadala ako ng authorization letter?
To SSS admin, ganito po ba dapat ang trato sa SSS member? walang option na para sa amin? walang consideration?
Pag umuwi naman po ako after 1 year at nagrequest ako ulet ng ID (in case shreded na yung ID ko), makukuha ko ba yun ng less than 1 month? Kasi 1 month lang ang vacation namin.
Tumutulong po ba kayo sa mga SSS member? Or sa pang sarili nyo lang?
Sana po kahit konti lang, makatulog kayo sa tulad ko.

Hello po, dati po naiinquire ko ung sa account ko. ngaun hindi na kahit po nagregister ako hindi pa rin makaaccess. mas maganda po ung nauna niyong web site. sandali nakakapag inquire ka. gusto ko lang po malaman kung magkano na po ung total payment ng loan ko. kasi po since nagstop me sa work hindi na po me nakabayad. pero ngaun pong andito na me sa abroad gusto kong mabayaran ung niloan ko at macontinue ko ung paghuhulog.

Pagpipila ka naman sa SSS office para maverify yung kelangan mo, kaprasong papel lang naman ibibigay sau na nakalagay kung ilang beses ka na naghulog sa account mo, pero yung details kung magkano na yung naihulog mo WALA NA!!! Dear SSS,
As we are all aware, the SSS members and their respective contributions really could do a lot of things for all of us, an assurance to survive when someone has retired, Government Projects for the people, housing loans, emergency loans, just to name a few, and all for the benefit of the majority.
In view of this, SSS should exert all their efforts, resources and means to provide the good services all the SSS members deserve.
Take for example a member wants to inquire for the status of contribution on line, in almost all instances, you will never get an answer on line. So, what’s the use of the SSS website. Now, since you cannot get an answer on line, SSS will refer you via text, SSS CONTRI bla bla bla and send to 2931 for Globe. This time what you will get is an answer telling you that “Sorry this service is temporarily unavailable”.
I really do not understand, SSS has the money, good people and the technical know-how but, still, such problems cannot be resolved. SSS should re-think and deliberate among their ranks how to solve such problems at the earliest time possible. Sad to say, but I can say this, “Nakakahiya”.
In closing, should you need assistance to solve the problem/s, please contact me and I may have be able to solve the problem given all the support and resources.

Mga kababayan alam nyo naman ang style ng gobyerno sa atin super bagal grabe mag email ka sa SSS after 1 or 2 months pa masasagot ang email mo tang ina tlaga dismayado ako sa SSS, pati website inquiry binago nila, pati kami mga OFW kailangan pa ng SBR no para maka pag apply sa on line web nila, saan na napunta ang tax ng mga tao kung ganyan kabagal ang serbisyo nila nde ba nila alam yan? mga bobo yata ang IT ng SSS or tlagang BOBO sila lahat pagdating sa serbisyong pinoy? ilang beses na ako nag email until now 2009 na lang wla pa ring sagot grabe tlaga kayo SUCKS!!!!

ang pinaka maganda mong gawin ay pumunta sa pinakamalapit na SSS office sa lugar nyo. doon mo hingin ang SSS number mo, ibigay mo lng complete name mo and Birth Date. tapos hahanapin na nila yan sa computer nila..wag kang umasa dito sa net kasi bulok nman system ng SSS. walang kwenta online services nila… kinurakot na siguro nila budget para dito.. HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!! mga taga SSS 2009 na, di pa ba gawa system nyo..ano n nangyari!!!! kayo nlang ata ang napapag iwanan ng panahon.. hanggang ngayun bulok parin system nyo..palitan nyo na kasi webmaster nyo..baka natutulog lng yan sa pansitan kaya di maayos-ayos itong bulok na online services nyo…

my father died last july 2008. we immediately filed death and pension claims after his burial. we then discovered that my father has double sss number. we asked for the cancellation of one of those number but until now, the documents that we are waiting from the main office of sss is not available.
Because of this, we feel that our mother is being deprived of her right to received pension from my father’s hard labor.we are wondering why it takes so long to transact documents from the sss

Hi! I filed my E6 in July 2008 but until now I have not received my ID. I tried to communicate with SSS Cebu City branch & according to them the ID machine is out of service, how can this be possible? If its in deed not working how can a big company like SSS settle for something that is not working? Can’t they ask for a contractor to make member’s ID?! Please help me what to do next in order to get my SSS ID. I badly need it this year, please help.

Magwawala ang milyun-milyong mga miyembro ng Social Service System (SSS) kapag hindi inatras ni SSS President Romulo Neri ang kanyang planong gamitin ang pondo ng mga pribadong manggagawa para pondohan ang P300-billion economic stimulus package bilang bahagi ng paghahanda sa epekto ng global economic meltdown.
Ito ang babala ng mga militanteng kongresista matapos makarating sa kanilang kaalaman na nag-commit na si Neri para pondohan ang kailangang salapi ng Malacañang gamit ang pera ng mga manggagawa sa pribadong sektor.
Ayon kay Gabriela party-list Rep. Liza Maza, walang karapatan si Neri na gamitin ang pondo ng SSS dahil hindi umano nito kinonsulta ang mga miyembro ng nasabing financial institution para sa nasabing bagay.
“Such should not be used or diverted for government use to mitigate the impact of the economic crisis. Did SSS chief Romulo Neri even consult or seek the approval of SSS members?” ani Maza.
Sakaling ituloy umano ni Neri ang kanyang plano, hindi malayong magwawala ang mga SSS members dahil manganganib ang kanilang pera sa gobyernong ito na kuwestiyunable ang pagkatao pagdating sa pera ng bayan.
Ang nasabing pondo ay gagamitin para pondohan ang private sector project tulad ng impastraktura.
Ipinaliwanag ni Maza na kung mayroong dapat makinabang sa pera ng SSS ay ang kanilang mga miyembro lalo na sa gitna ng krisis na nakatakdang maranasan umano ng Pilipinas ngayong taon dahil sa economic meltdown ng mundo.
Kailangan aniyang dagdagan ang dividend ng mga miyembro ng SSS at ibigay ng maaga ang mga retirement at pension benefits kung nais ng gobyerno na makatulong ang mga ito sa mga tao sa halip na gamitin ang kanilang perang inipon sa mahabang panahon.
“Clearly, the ones who will benefit from these proposals are big businesses, not the poor Filipino family who face threats and realities of job lay-offs, insufficient agricultural subsidies and support services,” dagdag pa ni Maza.

Fellow SSS members…have you heard of the latest news about our SS contributions…our SS funds can possibly use for the 2010 Presidential Elections thru the approval SSS Chief Romulo Neri…P12.5B funds from our contributions will be transferred to the “economic stimulus package” without the consultation from all of us (SSS Members)…this is our hard earned money! Mr. Neri have not right to just decide on this without us consulting…im calling on all SS members, we have to be vigilant of our SS contributions. Even previous SSS President Corazon Dela Paz is calling on us to be more watchful of our SSS funds!
