Taking a Hint from Spam

While I am worried about the huge amount of comment spam I get on a daily basis, I just found out that the majority of the text posted as spam had some sort of a trend. The usual keywords/phrases are “debt consolidation”, “mortgage loans”, “foreign exchange” and “real estate”.

However, I am seeing a sizable number of keywords that might be a good topic for an experimental focus blog. I won’t divulge the topic yet as it is just a product of speculation and gut feel. However, the topic makes sense and could probably be a high traffic blog.

This will need some time for further exploration and research but I believe it would be a worthwhile project.

Only time will tell, and in case this pushes thru, I will only have them spam comments to thank for. hehehe :)
