So easy to do one wonders why there aren’t more total fakes on the Internet. The Internet was developed without regard to any basic verification procedurs and privacy advocates for years have resisted any rational efforts.

Don’t know what the solution might be, but for sure it is nowhere in sight. Just look at two icons in view just as I type this comment … MyBlogLog and LinkedIn … two services that are so easy to “spoof” they have often been featured on blogs about false identities on them … yet a huge percentage of bloggers/site owners run them anyway…
