Thanks for posting the pricing info on the 40D.

Interestingly enough, I heard a rumor that they had maybe 28 units of the 40D up for grabs in one of the Quiapo camera shops that came directly from Canon Philippines. Reservation was at 20K and the supposed release of the units would be next week. They called it a pre-release, for professional photographers. It was offered at 60k with 1 year service and parts warranty from Canon. Of course, this is just hearsay.

Blogs like TechCrunch, Edgadget, and Gizmodo are on a different level altogether. They don’t need ad advertising platform as much as they need a simple advertising policy. Among the member sites of The Deck, the most popular in Technorati is A List Apart at #45. So for these sites that are quite popular but not too popular, The Deck provides the best experience I’ve seen for the publisher, advertiser, and reader.
