A computer glitch in the Social Security System (SSS) has wiped out the records of contributions of hundreds of thousands of members. According to a report by ABS-CBN's Alvin Elchico, the computer glitch occurred when the SSS digitized its records. Contributions made from 1985 to 1989 were not reflected in the SSS database, affecting hundreds of thousands of members. The SSS expects to fully fix the records by middle of 2017.
