I told myself at the beginning that I likely wouldn’t watch the whole demo … instead I watched the whole thing and looked back a couple oparts for a second go-round. I am signed up for sure.

I don’t get much email, another friend of mine, like Abe, gets a ton of email and he too is afraid it will be overwhelming.

I guess it is all in one’s outliokk, because I thought of it as a tool that will actually streamline my mail, IM and especially Twitter needs. I guess time will tell which impression comes out right.

Regarding needing a high speed connection .. of course, the higher the better, but the great part of Wave is that they send the message in tiny increments so that there will even be some utility on slow links.

And for guys who are developers, or wanna be developers, what a tool … you cna build tons of things using the platform with zero cost and little time … if some high quality multilayer game doesn’t surface out of Wave right off the bat I’ll be surprised. Amazing free stuff.

i watched the so called “DEMO” entirely and all i can say is wow. so if facebook is a SocialNetwokingSite, twitter a MicroBloggingSite, what does that make google wave? a whole new thing? the last 7 mins. or so really blew me out, the whole thing is alive and changing whatever you throw at it, it does spellcheck at an unbelievable amount of accuracy and seeing that it TRANSLATES character per character, word per word is truly blew me away. that is really hard to do… sob.. congrats though it’s still in the works. will be keeping an eye on this.
