A plan by the telcos to convince people they need a broadband service for a narrowband application? So that someone will do something with that expensive service that connects to about .0001% of the people in the Philippines? Interesting. The pipe to the US is still running at a 40% dropped packet rate like it did all weekend, but becuase it's a new service, those customers will never notice the errors. "If only" (God, I hate that phrase) they would get the basics right before adding on the bells and whistles.
