my os version is now ver 31… yey… and finally i am now enjoying the gps function of my phone using google earth… naka download ako ng google earth app and the gps capability is working unlike sa nokia maps di xa nag wwork even though i already updated the map version and os version di talga na dedetect ung location ko… unlike sa google earth, kahit san ako mag punta kita sa map location ko… and complete pa ung mga streets and some landmarks kesa sa nokia maps…

about sa prev post… yup normal na may nokia logo and charging status sa upper left while your charging your phone ng naka turn off…

about naman sa youtube… if your using the browser… make sure na ung timezone mo ang selected ay philippines then download mo ung update ng app, make sure u download the flashplayer lite update… makikita mo un sa applications then app. update…

ung bout sa flashing light ng mid button try mo ioff sa settings then phone settings then notification lights then notification light ulit then least na ata 5mins xa mag blink, di xa napapatay…

and mga apps u can try to download sa ovi store using ur phone, make sure ur using wifi para makadami ka… or u can browse the net then just search… dun ko nahanap google earth and other stuff…

namamaximize ko use ng phone ko from wifi, gps, video streaming, camera up to music… i like this phone…

got my phone kahapon. and so far so good naman…
may mga gusto lang sana ako matutunan…
panu makapanood ng videos from youtube? triny ko kasi pero di naman nagpplay.

-pag nagchacharge po ba, talagang laging may nokia sa gitna habbang nagchacharge? kasi pinatay ko muna ung phone ko tapos chinarge ko, tapos aun, May malaking nokia sa gitna tapos nag chacharge na sa gilid. GAnun ba talaga?

-panu patayin ung ilaw sa gitna ng green at red button. ung kunyari naka stand by tapos umiilaw ilaw siya. parang humihinga… hehe.. panu patayin un?

-san po pwede maka kuha ng mga applications ng 5800?

got my nokia 5800 XM at nokia store sa robinson’s place tacloban city for 13,790 only. they let me free games from ovi kasi they got wifi in their store. But some games are “online games” and demo/trial versions. now im looking for websites where i can download free games. hehe.

kainis lang kasi di compatible and na download ko na uzzap from smart wap site.

m happy with my new fon.

I updated my 5800xm 2 days back with firmware version 31. I also downloaded the Iphone like UI.. My Problem now is the green button is not functioning as log file for calls.. helllpppppppp!!!!!

version 31 is nice. maganda ung response ng touchscreen, ung map is ovi map na, mas lumaki ung RAM. parang ung lang.. sana may kinetic scrolling na.

it will cost around 12000php (in greenbelt i guess) to 14750php (in festival, alabang)

got that same problem too,the solution i think is not to just copy-paste songs via ‘mass storage device’ mode but to copy-paste it via pc suite and nokia ovi…that way,you can fix the details of the songs and have their own album art appearing in the phone. (its also the much ‘proper’ way i guess)

i agree about the games. (currently looking for a red alert if there’s one.XD)

this phone rocks. i admit i was a bit skeptical at first, but it totally won me over.. true the camera isnt that good, or the speakers sounding a bit tinny, but its built on a great symbian o.s so possibilities of installing a lot of *cough*cracked*cough* applications are endless. great price, great phone.

got my fone last july and it seems ok..until i found some files (which i think are corrupted) and deleted all of those..

nangyari is, nawala lahat ng images including the free videos and wallpapers na nasa phone..plus yung 400 plus songs ko, nawala rin..i tried to download again those songs sa cp ko but when i refresh the library, nangyari is, 120 lng yung songs naging 5000 files na sya..i don’t know what the problem is..

cguro marami pang bugs yung 5800.will visit the nokia store where i bought it..cguro need na i.reformat to..

to use your phone as a modem here’s how
1. set your 3g phone(activate)
2. connect your phone via cable
3.go to phone software mine Nokia Pc suite
4.and click connect to the internet
5. just click next next and so on and ur done.

I’ve been hunting for days now in order to get a simple method to be able to download videos from youtube .
There are lots them including software programms , plugins for firefox , many scripts etc.. Well most of them are ok at doing what they really do .

But I will mention a trick that it’s the fastest that I’ve found. This method includes using http://www.tubeleecher.com.

Ok here are the steps involved

1) visit http://www.tubeleecher.com
2) get the youtube link of the video you want to download
3) paste it in the textbox on tubeleecher page
4) press “Download” and save it

You can watch the video you downloaded with a flash player.

I’ve found also a youtube video explaining the whole procedure of getting youtube videos with the method described above.

my phone got the latest version V31.0.101 nothing much update. im still waiting for the kenitic scroll like iphone …. ang tagal…. huhuhuhu
