I just got my sony ericsson aino, switched from nokia N82. It’s a pretty good multimedia phone, though the quality of pictures taken from the N82 is far better, mainly because of the Xenon flash compared to the Aino which only has LED flash. Pictures at night are not too good.

The touch UI is pretty solid. The touchscreen as you know it only works when the phone is closed, and is purely for multimedia function. Although You can use the touchscreen also for browsing by downloading and installing opera mini 5. This browser works flawlessly with the Aino.

Sound quality is good and I am enjoying using the bundled bluetooth device where i use my Skullcandy headphones with. You just have to charge the bluetooth handsfree daily if you are to listen tons of music all day.

Overall, I think it’s a pretty solid phone. no problems with it so far.

I just read the reviews of the Sony Ericsson Satio at Cnet. In this website all tech enthusiasts around the globe discuss the Satio's specifications(like the camera, battery life, and etc.).they also pointed out some GOOD and not so BAD reviews about this ultimate smartphone:HERE ARE THE FOLLOWING

GOOD:Responsive touchscreen • Excellent 12MP camera • Good media playback • Great connectivity

Picture quality during our tests ranged from good to great, depending on the lighting situations. Daytime shots, especially in warm afternoon light, are gorgeous, but night-time shots tests the image sensor's sensitivity and the results tended to be extremely noisy. We also saw some of the worst red-eye in night shots that we've ever come across — even subjects across a room had glowing balls for pupils like burning hot coals.

BAD:Poor battery life • Signal issues • No 3.5mm headphone socket

The lack of a 3.5mm headphone socket is a big letdown in our books, but if you can get past this you'll find the Satio is quite a media hub. The media menus are clear and well designed, which is the same Sony Ericsson experience you find across its Walkman range. From the home screen you can access this menu using a dedicated on-screen media key, or by pressing the mechanical media key on the right side of the handset. The 360x640-pixel display looks fantastic playing back video content, and the Satio will recognise WMV, 3GP, MP4 and Real Video media files.

IN SHORT:Our time with the Satio marks the fourth opportunity we've had this year to experience the phone in person, and each time we've seen a significant improvement in performance. In fact, it's gotten to the point where we don't see any performance lag when moving through the menus or switching applications. Sony Ericsson has refined this interface to a point where we have no reservations in highly recommending this touchscreen experience.

Areas where we remain reserved are in regards to battery life and cell tower signal reception. The battery life is bad, but not unusually so for a touschscreen with a large display. As with many phones in this class, the Satio's battery lasts for about a day, and we found ourselves charging it each evening. The reception issues were more concerning, with the Satio losing the ability to make calls or send messages in areas where few phones struggle, like train stations for example. Those familiar with the iPhone will know about this trade off; exceptional performance in a few key areas — the camera and media playback in the case of the Satio — at the expense of phone functionality under certain circumstances.

The iPhone is a very smart phone; it has very advance technological features compared to other phones on the same league. But on the other-hand the all new Satio from Sony Ericsson is a beast compared to the iPhone.

The Sony Ericsson Satio is a very intelligent device incorporates with 12.5 megapixel onboard camera and 3.5 inch widescreen (16:9 aspect ratios)

I contacted sony ericsson support center and I was told that Aino is priced at 26,890 while the Satio is 34,990 it's a bit expensive because you can get good phones for just about the same price but I do like the Aino concept it's different and the bluetooth headseat is something else. SE has good quality but I'm having second thoughts about purchasing the Aino because of the price although it's a good phone according to some european reviews so I don't know it's a gamble and i'll just have to find out.
