Sony Ericsson Xperia X1 unboxed!

It’s finally here. Got first dibs on the new Sony-Ericsson Xperia X1 and I took tons of shots to share. Official launch is still a couple weeks away though — November 28, 2008. See unboxing pictures after the jump.

Got to talk to the General Manager of Sony Ericsson Mobile this afternoon and asked some more questions about the launch of the Xperia X1. It has been officially pegged this November 28 but when pressed about the final retail price, they could not give a figure. They promised to try and bring it below Php45,000 but that will highly depend on the foreign exchange rate on the week of launch date.

Specs include:
3.0 inches touchscreen display (800 x 480 pixels)
3G/HSDPA 7.2Mbps
Full QWERTY
Optical mouse
Qualcomm MSM7200 528MHz processor
400 MB internal memory
256 MB RAM, 512 MB storage memory
Wi-Fi 802.11b/g
Bluetooth w/ A2DP
GPS
3.15 MP (2048×1536 pixels) & 30fps VGA video recording
FM Radio with RDS
Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional

Full review will be out in a week or two.

This is a very nice phone feature-wise. I just don’t think I like the look or the design of the phone.
