Want a Nokia N79 Ferrari TV Phone?

Of course it’s a knock-off but the sales ladies will tell you this upfront — “Sir, it’s a China phone”. I replied back “But the real Nokia phones are also made in China!”. Just take a look at this fake Ferrari-inspired Nokia N79++ TV.

For only Php4,800 (and you can still haggle), you get a dual-SIM phone with TV tuner and etched with a Ferrari logo. It doesn’t even look close to the original Nokia N79 — that’s probably because this knock-off was made way before Nokia even announced the model.

But why do people keep on buying these knock-offs? Well, first it’s dirt cheap and then it offers kick-ass features Nokia doesn’t do — an over-the-air TV tuner and dual-SIM. The saying that nobody will sell them if nobody will buy still holds true.

Pretty disappointed with Nokia’s later model that omitted FM Radio functionality when their earlier models were capable. With the resurgence of Chinaphones which offer better features like TV-Tuner, FM, Dual-Sim, Touchscreen picking a Nokia is less feasable. If quality is of concern then Samsung, LG, or even Apple has better offerings. Even MyPhones are looking pretty good as well.

Ang galing talaga ng China. Parang lahat na lang pwede nilang gawin.

Gusto ko na nga ata talaga maniwala dun sa nabasa ko dati.

God created the planets, nature, animals and humans. Then China created everything else. hahaha!

I’ve seen that Ferrari brand everywhere: children’s toys, cellphones, dvd players, shoes, sunglasses, and even coloring books.

But there’s this one thing I’d really like to buy: an Acer Ferrari laptop.

china phone is great with some cool features that branded phones that does not have:

    dual sim
    fm radio
    tv phone
pregnancy rate computation (my favorite! ehehe!)
    obesity checker
    etc…

the only thing that china phone does not have is a Phone Browser, GPRS and WiFi but of course… im sure that your balls will be fried after prolong use! wahaha!

consumer wise… ill buy this phone coz its darn cheap… dont question about its durability kasi every 6 months nagpapalit ka naman ng unit.

I am using Cherry phone M35: features 2g microSD, on air tv, fm radio, dual sim, bluetooth, comes with a 1-year warranty. It has motion sensor, the tv screen orientation changes to widescreen when you turn the celfon on its side. I use the motion sensor to fastforward the songs playing in the audio player – that is by flicking the phone, MP3 being played fastforwards to the next song in the list. Unlike in branded celfons, TV , FM radio or audio player will run even without plugging in the earphone jack because it has a built in external speaker.
