I was just in a meeting with the CEO of Mobile Arts who’s also a former executive from Smart Communications. His company is a mobile application and content provider which operates a number of mobile services with Smart, Globe, and Sun Cellular. These are mostly mobile-originated and mobile-terminated billing and revenue sharing arrangements with these carriers (see for example, www.mysmart.com.ph, www.fast.ph, www.easy.ph, and www.mail2.ph)
We were talking about the possibility of utilizing some of these existing services to augment existing blogging channels — basic browser, rss, email and this time mobile.
I blogged about my MoBlogging Wishlist last year at PTB and I discussed those avenues to work on and possibly carve a fraction of the active bloggers to use the service both to add a unique feature and even additional income from revenue-sharing.
The question is — how many readers will subscribe and will they spend Php2.50 to get updates from their favorite blogs? Will it be a worthwhile effort?
If you look at the comment section below, you will see a checkbox which allows commenters to get email alerts whenever there are new comments. Will this also work with SMS alerts? We will soon find out as we try and experiment with that here on my blog.

i think it’s too much.. how bout they archive it as the feeds for the day.. like in twine
