it’s funny when the minimum requirements for a P4 motherboard needs a PCIe video card… diba wala pang PCIe slots sa P4 boards dati? hehe
buhay nanaman ang Starcraft! yes!

Pretty sane requirements except for the 12GB HDD requirement. Hard disk storage is cheap but those are pretty steep multimedia file requirements for a single game.
ciao!
Nothing to worry about… whew…

SC2 is also coming for the Mac
ill wait the version for my MAC.
Woot! My PC is well equipped for SC2. Can’t wait to get the box set. This game would be well worth the money spent.
sana same specs requirement for diablo II!!
anyway anyone knows if this would run on nvidia 8200m? sorry for the lame question.. hehe
Don’t worry about the steep HDD space requirement, its a compensation for the low gpu requirement. Newer games with low system requirements usually needs large hdd space which is good imo for moderate gamers. And these are great games too.
I believe what will come out will be a WinMac version, thus there will be only one package for both Win & Mac, just like the previous Starcraft and Warcraft I & II.

Finally! hahaha! sana worth the wait..
I boycott Starcraft II. Walang LAN multiplayer option!

I think this requirement is dwarfed by the NBA2K10 system requirements.

Meron na kayang PCI Express sa P4 Motherboard dati. PCIe since 2004 pa yan…
I only have 256MB video card and 2.4Ghz CPU on vista. SC2 beta runs good, i just need a reliable cooling fan or it will shutdown after 5 mins of playing.
@yuga
I believe Data Blitz will be start giving copies to those who pre-ordered on July 27 as displayed on their posters. July 28 is for people who weren’t able to pre-order their copy.
@Marg
They removed LAN because to curb piracy. I’ve been playing the Starcraft 2 Beta where the server is located in the US. I have experienced minimal to no lag using a decent broadband connection (pldt 999). Some people are able to play the game even with a 384kbps connection.

grammar fail

spelling fail… this is not a good day… haha
@Marg
“I boycott blah blah blah”
That’s alright.. one less whiner to deal with in B.net
@desert_punk: I totally disagree. Research first before you make such claims.
12gb is insane, especially since this is just the Terran campaign. I’m guessing it’s 6-10gb for the campaign-specific files (since the ahem…beta was around 2gb) so we’re looking at around 30gb when the Zerg and Protoss campaigns roll around. Crazy.
