I like the Acer 10″ Netbook range. They are well built machines and I like the metallic finish, blue being my favourite colour option.

Sir gusto lang po sanang magtanong about sa voltage conversion ng aspire one 751h ko,..nagpadala po kasi ang tito ko from dubai..e hindi ko po alam kung capable po yung power source dito sa pinas para mapagana yung laptop ko,.yung 220 V pede na ba yun??.patulong naman po…Thanks..

I’m not a techy person, I’m a plain housewife and doesn’t do much downloading.
I wonder what kind of laptop should I buy. I just want to have a reliable gadget that would help me with net surfing and some downloads for my son.

By the way, my son does a lot of on line games, he’ll probably share the laptop with me.

hi! i am planning to buy a notebook. my first choice is really Acer Aspire One D150. Now, it costs only P21,900… but now im confused… Lenovo S10 Mini which has the same specs, but the price is lower around P19,900… and also with Neo having the same price of 21,900 but it’s HDD – 320GB and DDR2 Memory is 2GB… i need your opinion guys. thanks so much

My father loved Acer so much but me? I choose Apple MacBook over Acer Laptops. Thinner and better design but expensive.

hi! i’m planning to buy a netbook soon. the problem is that i am not a techy person. i want (if possible) a movable screen,with cam and mic, nice audio and upgradeable.
purpose: email,chat,download music & videos,play dvd (movies)and save some documents and pics.
target budget: P15K-P25K
question: assuming i got the netbook already, how do i get connected to the internet? we have DSL at home connected to our desktop.do i still need to purchase those internet prepaid kits like globe tattoo and smartbro?

There’s one thing i can say about these aspire netbooks, they’re moddable, if you take out the battery there should be a place there for a sim card holder, the compartment at the bottom has a slot for a card, all these has to be modded into the netbook.. 3g is an option.

Another feature request multi-touch screen instead of multi touch track pad 10 inch netbook is small to start with, its not comfy to do multi touch on a small space. Multi-touch screens will set the netbooks apart from the laptops imagine a 10 inch multi touch, it’s like having a big wide screen iphone you can put down your table and play with it like microsoft surface.

look to me just an Aspie One 9″ with an expanded screen size(to just a meager 1″ difference).

like what everybody commented, nothing new.

i wished they could have offered:

1) 3G ready, or at least a 3G sim slot available
2) HSDPA ready
3) an overhaul of the looks and design

now those were something new for both form and functionality.

Yep, no 3G yet. I got my Aspire One last sunday. The manual says the Aspire One has a 3G slot but when I looked, nada.

What’s disappointing about the unit was that it was announced to be carrying the GN40 chipset. Instead it’s still using Intel 945GSE. =(
