i think you should upgrade the BIOS for x100e.. there’s an issue of performance degradation when the x100e run on the older bios…

I tried that and unfortunately, Asus doesn’t preload their Eee PC with Linux, at least in the Philippines. What you can do is check out if a particular model works with Linux and install it yourself.

Any chance there’s a seller who would put Linux on the Asus? I want the preloaded Linux on the original Eee PC.
