i was canvassing for a netbook and saw the emach 250 sells at p14k at virra mall. the price is very attractive!

not to mention, an emachine design is targeted to a more mature and professional crowd. this looks better than those brightly colored and plasti-ky designed acers.

this costs 16k in cebu without OS, but hey, it’s the cheapest out there for a known brand.

I saw this at asianic SM San Lazo, it cost 15K without OS and its 6 cell battery. The sales lady claimed that it is only compatible with Windows 7 because WinXp does not have the drivers for it.

i have had emachines laptops and desktops in the past. they’re pretty cheap but in terms of reliability, they have served me well. my emachines laptop is still around after 5 years of use. it has outlived the average laptop’s lifespan of 3 years!

the 60 mhz speed increase from n270 to n280 isn’t noticeable by end users. read about it

Considering they named this as an eMachine, they should have priced it lower. The CPU to is a downer.

It’s a little bit expensive, IMO. You could buy a better one with 20k. I guess the price of this unit will drop quickly.
