my vote goes to DELL inspiron,

reason, im a developer i need a good laptop that can take some abuse and last longer.

ive used both .. and trust me HP’s biggest downfall is its bad batteries that eventually die on you.. and as it gets older and used more (abused in my case ) its performance goes down. Dell stands strong even the batteries have outlasted the HP pavillion

even artistically the work on the dell inspiron 1525 is much more to my taste and much subtle and attractive then the in your face HP designs
