This will make Linux popular. I hope this trend will cause Linux to significantly improve.

  2. BrianB says:

If that is the actual price of the 10.2 incher, I’d definitely get that instead of the Dell E Slim. Hope it comes with the Lenovo roll cage.

  3. BrianB says:

    I mean for the 160GB.

  4. jhay says:

Wow, at that low price compared to the others? I’m definitely going to go for this one and then install Ubuntu on it. :D

  5. Rex says:

Any more details? Sounds too cheap to be true for a Lenovo. Seems like I need to hold off buying a sub-notebook again.

  6. revoler says:

interesting. i was thinking of getting msi wind. but i will have to wait and check this out first.

  7. 1knife says:

hmmn this is getting to be interesting. i almost bought the msi wind last weekend. hope it comes out soon and so does the gigabyte m912v with 3g.

  8. yuga says:

That’s all I got from Lenovo Philippines marketing. Will post updates once I get them.

  9. kevinn says:

Any updates? From what I know it’s coming out in November, not September, and the price will be around Php26,500, At least that’s what it says on the PC Corner website. If it’s coming in Sept., I can wait for it, but Nov., nah…

  12. Jay says:

    hoorah!!

    DOTA on the Go!

    @Nutbook
of course.. vat vat vat.. cursed VAT!

  13. Nutbook says:

Well, it’s about the same price as an Eee PC1000H at 26K, so it’s fair. But I can’t wait three more months… And for me it’ll be Maple Story on the go, FTW!

  14. [...] Price starts at Php22,990 but could jump up after some upgrades. See original announcement of the Lenovo IdeaPad here. [...]

  15. makulet says:

much better than dell inspiron mini? and msi wind? or this one is the best among 3?:)

  16. Ian says:

    I got mine already! Wahoo!

Fun, very porma, especially the case. Haha.

But MS XP Service pack 3 (which came with it) SUCKS BIG TIME! Blocks my internet (similar complaint from other SP3 users according to the broadband tech guy). Blocks Quicktime and Real Media Player installation. Doesnt allow re-installation of Service Pack 2! I HATE IT!!!

OR. I should just go to the computer shop. Haha.

Got one a month ago and its features are good, except a sort of glitch on the built-in webcam. Sad to say, I have to send it to their shop for troubleshooting.

  20. cs says:

uhm, abe, any idea how to reboot s10′s OS? ^^

  21. deseo saber el costo de la misma

  22. cs says:

hm. the s10 is really lovely. but the capslock is eating me! and the tab is too narrow! but for the price of cheap mobility, its something that you can turn a blind eye on. :)
there’s not much significant difference between the 12″ or the 14″ lenovos from this 10″ s10 except for the troublesome capslock and tab keys, keyboard-wise.

  23. ishi says:

how can I connect to the internet with my s10 lenovo notebook? i think something’s wrong..

  24. Henk says:

    Hi,

Can someone please help me for information how to reset my Lenovo S10e password?

It was done wrong with my service provider Auto page. The computer keeps on asking for a password to connect onto the internet.

    Thanks
    Henk.
