I would still go to other laptop brands.. Some say that the customers service of neo is not so good. But then again promote our very own laptop brand is a good way also. Mahal naman ang NEO EDGE.

@Noel – No hindi maganda not so reliable. They need to improve in this aspect fast if not they gonna lose a lot of buyers. So far it seems hindi yata nila prioridad ang after sales service nila.

@Ryan – you’re right if you feel you want to support a philippine company then buy Neo. But may trade off yan warranty risk.

just saw one in the Neo concept store in SM North, kinda looks like the Acer Timeline series but not really. I don’t like the keyboard much.

For the price, definitely something else, but if you want to support Philippine IT, then this might be one of the best that’s currently offered.

naku, at 50K, mapangarap. bakit naman ako magniNEO pa eh may 50K na ako. eh di dun nalang ako sa ibang trusted brands.

rubbish. ibaba nila ang presyo to something suited for a NEO.

Wow thats a huge price from a yet-to-be tested/trusted brand. Their selling point was their low price. What the hell were they thinking with this one? And with the bad battery life, the other aspects must deliver to justify the price.

that 4500HD gfx processor looks sweet but Ion loaded notebooks will still be superior and a better choice in terms of performance

Too expensive! It looks good, but no thanks. Specs aren’t worth the price, not to mention the horrible battery life. IMO, people would rather get a well-known brand than get this. Maybe a 30k pricetag would be much better.

Short battery life? That’s okay. I’ll just use this in the office and various conference rooms, where we can easily plug into the electrical socket.

The small size plus the built-in 3G modem makes this quite tempting. Will wait for more detais about the modem, though.
