Red Fox WizBook 1020i X2 now runs Atom

It looks like Red Fox has ditched AMD for an Intel Atom processor with their new Red Fox WizBook 1020i X2.

WizBook 1020i X2
10.2″ display screen (1024×600 pixel)
Intel Atom N270 1.6GHz
1 GB RAM
80 GB SATA HDD
1.3MP webcam
WiFi 802.11 b/g

Available at PC Corner for Php17,500 and php18,500 for 2GB of RAM. These prices do not include Windows XP though but Linpus Linux.

Wizbook

The new models would definitely push down the older Red Fox Wizbook that came with AMD Geode. Expect the Wizbook 800 and Wizbook 1020 models to go below Php15k a pop.

Wizbook is definitely not clone! It’s actually an original equipment manufactured from Taiwan.

I just got one, my new wizbook 1020i, I had the black one. well so far so good. I upgraded it to windows xp. very light and very handy. I bought it for P 18,400.00 well much higher than the P17,500 of PC corner. pero okey lang kc 6months to pay naman. hehehe sa supplier ko nakuha may kilala kc ako. hehehehe okey so to those who want to be teki but limitted budget I think this is the best choice for 10.2 lcd category.

Buy a branded laptop like acer or hp instead of that redfox, not so good item.

Hi Gareth.. where did you purchase your wizbook? Im planning to buy one before september ends. if it is not too much to ask, would you refer me to your supplier? It will definitely easier for me to pay it if its in 6mos basis.

Need help. I need to buy a charger for the 1020i but I don’t know the “right” specs. Can anybody help me?
