Really not worth the price, this is typical of Sony to overprice their products. You can get double the memory and hard disk space with a bigger easier to see screen for around £299! like the HP mini note or something.... theres a limit to how small you can make these things before the become impossible to use .......

I want this one! However, since the other regular sized laptop (Vaio) sells at 49k, I wonder if I'm gonna get that instead. Converting 900usd to php sums up to about 43k php... add 6k more and you get a regular sized laptop that has a cd burner (needed by those people who take a lot of pics, myself included).

I hope the price of this one can go down to at least 37k (comparable to the HP mini note with 120G hard drive).

Dilemma! Help!

OMG! It's like a dream come true! A netbook with a trackpoint! Trackpads are very cumbersome to use. It's like using a mouse. It requires you to move your hands away from the keyboard which can be very counterproductive for programmers. Anyway, this could have been my dream netbook but why did it have to be a VAIO?! Oh gawd...

i'm sooo gettin' this when it comes out in manila ^_^

but im sure it wont be cheap. $899 could mean at least P50k here. ouch.

that "vaio" and "sony" branding/trademark makes this device highend, and can surely turn heads lol.

any idea on the official launch date?

thanks

I find it so hard to use the "nipple" mouse. Maybe if I got one, I'll always bring a USB mouse with me.
