Hey there! I’m planning to buy EF 100mm f/2.8 Macro USM but i’m looking for a less price of it, i’m just a student and i’m not yet earning money. This is the problem with the Canon cameras. Lenses arent cheap and IS is not built-in with the camera body.

Go with Pentax cameras, cheap lenses, in-body IS, water/dust proof design. I highly recommend the pentax k100d or if the have the buck, k10d or the newer models k200d and k20d.

is there any for nikon? I am just an enthusiast and I have a nikon d80. It’s just a hobby so I have no plans of overspending for a lens that I wont be using. I like landscape and portrait photography

The 85 1.2L is a specific function lens – it doesn’t focus very fast (not as fast as my 85 1.8, at least), and the 1.2 gives you very, very shallow DoF – but it’s a dream to use. It’s a lovely portait lens, and definitely a piece that a wedding photographer would love to have.
