The Sony Bloggie HD has arrived

Listen to article

So the Sony Bloggie HD that we won during the amazing race event we had with Sony in Boracay has arrived. This is one of the first few units available and should be out in stores this month.

So, what comes out of the box? The Bloggie, 4GB memory stick, RCA cable, 960mAh battery, carrying pouch, USB cable extender and an extra 360-degree camera lens (that easiyl attaches on the built-in swivel lens).

The Bloggie can do several HD movie recording — 720p @ 30fps, 720p @ 60 fps and 1080p @ 30fps. My favorite part is the 60fps to get that slow-mo recording. The interesting feature is the 360-degree video recording mode. Will have to test that out along with the slow-mo. Will publish a full review soon.

To all Filipinos who wanna buy this amazing camera (in the Philippines),

The last time I checked, it’s Php12,000… And maybe if you wait a liitttllleee longer, it’ll get cheaper, that’s what I do. :)))

p.s. I’ve been wanting to have this for years already!!

@hardlock888: I have the MHS-CM5 bloggie version (the pistol grip type) and it uses the same battery as the MHS-PM5K/MHS-PM5 (NP-BK1 battery). I can use it a little over an hour. I’ve been searching over the net for the battery performance of both bloggies and found out that they’re about the same.

Nice 360° attachment lens.Is it true about the 30mins. limit on taking videos?

Others say after 30mins. the camera turns itself off.

Hopefully you can confirm on this.
