There is actually a company in Makati that employs bloggers to write for several niche industries. In terms of corporate blogging though, this could the very first here in the Philippines.

i meant corporate blogging in the philippine setting

there are two types of corporate blogs - the internal ones that are used as a substitute for email, and the external ones which are basically a soft sell / human element marketing. corporate blogs also give the company a face and personality to deal with.

internet-savvy businesses big and small are now discovering the advantages of having a blog. our company maintains two, one for projects and the other an aggregate on newsfeeds for the kind of work we do. not much creative writing work goes into them at the moment, but they are updated several times a week. the opportunity for inter-linking and link exchanges is tremendous.
