The smallest and lightest model in the Acer Timeline series is the 1810TZ and pretty much defines what the ULV segment should be — thin, light, long battery light and has enough processing power. The Acer Timeline notebook boasts of up to 8 hours battery life and sports a nice slim design (slimmer than most netbooks). Most of the Acer notebooks I've seen around are ugly and bulky but the Acer Timeline series changed that impression. The Timeline has 3 models although I've only seen two -- the 13.3" and 14" models with a resolution of 1366x768 pixels running GMA 4500MHD. The 13.3" Acer Timeline costs more at around Php45,000 while the 14" has a retail price of Php39,990. I should have said "Have you seen the Acer Aspire One" but didn't bother to argue anymore. Just 5 days after the new 10" Acer Aspire One has been formally announced, the new model is ready for pre-oder with a suggested retail price of Php25,995.
