im paying P1,995 for my globe internet but i don't get my money's worth. the connection is so slow that it becomes perennial. total internet disconnection could also last for days in a month and globe is not even contrite about the inconvenience it caused, how about rebates?

also, i dont think the 171 hotline is of any help, better run to the nearest internet cafe and vent your anger elsewhere.

I just have my Globe Broadband installed last Saturday and i intentionally chooses the 384 kbps to test first the infamous Globe service and to my amusement the speed is ok but i will wait for 1 month before upgrading it to 1 mbps. Hopefully it continues to deliver what it promises... hopefully.

To whom it may concern

hello globelines guys,
i wndr if it is usual practice with your customer service to be called off, after accepting/recieving complete application documents/requirment for a certain package (landline/broadbnd connection) and it was establish that the said package is available upon receipt of the application documents, your customer service attendant told me that after a few days it will be installed but i sugeested that maybe we could set a certain date to give the installer more than enough time for my schedule will be served, i gave them more than the 3-day schedule, so thats it, we both agreed the schedule. For your guidance and information i pulled out my pending application with the bayantel thinking that we were already set for installation, but unfortunately a couple of days i was adv. that the package that i need (landline/internet connection)can be installed less the landline. i ask her why that package is no longer available in fact the date for installation has been set/approved already. what in heaven's name you guys did this to me. my place has been set for opening. by the way i am an airline ticket agent and that package is my basic requirment for me to operate the business... NABIBITIN AKO GUYS!!! kindly do something with it nakaka inis talaga.. Please contact your customer incharge and call her attention MS. KATRINA GULA of Globelines, Burgos St., Tacloban City, Leyte

thank you for your time

Not to brag or anything but here's my speed as of like 5 minutes ago. I have a 20/2 connection with turbo boost.

Speed test statistics
---------------------
Download speed: 6372240 bps
Upload speed: 1766160 bps
Download quality of service: 90 %
Upload quality of service: 97 %
Download test type: socket
Upload test type: socket
Maximum TCP delay: 70 ms
Average download pause: 4 ms
Minimum round trip time to server: 68 ms
Average round trip time to server: 69 ms
Estimated download bandwidth: 36800000bps <<<---Not bad eh?
Route concurrency: 5.775049
Download TCP forced idle: 79 %
Maximum route speed: 7710000bps

Detailed analysis : http://174.34.146.20/myspeed/db/report?id=976

You can find the test at http://www.ispgeeks.com just click on the diagnostics tools tab and you will see this test called TCP Speed Test and several others including one thats good for voip or ventrillo. After you run your TCP test check the Route Performance and see where the bottleneck is. I think you can even have the results emailed to your ISP.

Yuga, it seems that you and I have a thing in common. I'm a former Greendot subscriber and 2,750 Pesos is a big loss. I've been using Greendot since 2001. My mom subscribed for that lame, expensive ISP(Greendot). It was the hellish days of my life. My mom wouldn't authorize me to switch into a different ISP. It was sad. Eight years have passed(OMFG YEAH), my mom realised that she's paying for an overpriced ISP. I tried to tell her that every single day but she never listened. One of her friends told her about the latest trends. She even mentioned our ISP. That's the time where my horrible days had ended. I planned to subscribe SkyBroadband but our area, some street here in Pasay, isn't covered. I'm supposed to grab the Plan 6mbps(3,999 Pesos) since I can afford it now because of my current stable job as an IT Consultant, or the plan 12mbps (5,999 Pesos) 50% shared with my mom's salary. Although, I'm currently subscribing Globe Broadband plan 2mbps(overflowing up to 2.6mbps) w/ landline. I always get disconnected everytime I'm idling. As long as my torrent's active, my connection grips tight. xD

Same old, same old… All the people in the Philippines have the same problems with globelines… Hai, shit happens sometimes! Yeah, globeline really sucks! Im on their 3G broadband, the first 2months have downloads of 100kbs on torrents but now it would be a miracle to even reach 10! And the same ol CS saying things like restoration, slow browsing or system maintenance… I mean, come on! What the hell is goin on! Im on my 9th month of my 1yr lock-in period and after iv finished with it i will definitely discontinue my service. PLDT have better internet speed here in my place. Good for torrents… Hehehehe…

For new subscribers? DOnt be fooled by the globelines propaganda! This is not a joke! Trust me, i knw!

hi i am from davao city mintal i advise u wag kana mag pakabit sa Globe nakapabagal ng connection nila kung may connection man minsan lang madalas walag connection sa tuwing tatawag ka sa Customer Service nila sasabihin may system restoration daw sila parang sirang plaka since 2008 pa nila yan na ilibi. Kaya i warned u now para di ka magsisi later. Na biktima rin ako ng sales talk nila kaya now babawi ako tru internet din gamit na ang ibang ISP
