		<description>Interesting stats on the pre versus post  subscribers.  One thing in which there is room for improvement ... Globe, Smart, et al, might think about ... I am a strictly prepay Smart user.  I would much, much prefer to be a postpay subscriber.  But the requirements for a postpay account are more stringent than those I faced to get a new car loan!

I mean. seriously, the cell system is 100% automated and computer controlled, so the amount they could be at risk for, should I start running up charges and not paying the bill is totally under thier control ... unlike say the bank's risk on a car loan where I could tale a million-peso plus car to a chop shop, collect cash for it and report the thing stolen ... they'd be out a million or more.  It's silly.

But due to some very old-fashioned thinking in all the major carriers here it is very clear that they don't _want_ postpaid subscribers ...it's no wonder they spend a lot for each subscriber because they make it a paperwork obstacle course to become one.

Why anyone would bother is beyond me...</description>
