ZPDee Cable at 64Kbps for P690?

Just read about this ZPDee Cable connection offering broadband speed at narrowband price — Php690/month. That’s like your regular dial-up connection speed. For an additional Php200, you get double that speed (and another Php200 to quadruple that speed). Not bad, almost the same price for Smart Wifi connection.

If you will remember several years ago when ZPDee first offered their broadband cable service, they were charging by bandwidth overage. It was around Php100 per 100MB or something?

Broadband is getting really cheaper now. Signs that dial-up will soon be a thing of the past?

If I remember it right, zpdee is a broadband internet provider that I think is a subsidiary of SkyCable and HomeCable. The only problem is that they are available in limited areas only. Binondo is one of the place that Zpdee is available.

If your a Skycable subscriber and subscribe with zpdee, you will get discounts with SkyCable.

Zpdee acquired PLDT bandwidth (info.com.ph / Now cable internet) when Sky and Home merged. Right now Zpdee personnel are reportedly working on restoring the Sky connection while retaining the PLDT connection (multihoming, most probably via BGP).

But we’re moving from Zpdee to Smart Wifi soon because Zpdee has not detailed any plans to increase speed from 256k to 384k for the P970/mo plan, and has also given us sh*tty connection for 13 days straight (and blaming our equipment for it too). Globe has also announced availability in our area (P995 for 384k DSL), but it’s still a wireline solution. Hopefully Smart Wifi is a better choice (wireless eliminates “last mile” problem), and follows through with their plan to provide 384k for P988 nationwide by end-December.

ive been using zpdee and so far, conection is ok unless during peak hours but atleast im not disconnected at these times.

i only called once to their technical support just to find out that my PC has a problem. spyware was the culprit. after a reformat, the problem is gone.

wag na kayu magZPdee, it really sucks! i mean ive been complaining about my connection for 2 weeks now and parati nila sabi may maintenance for san juan and mandaluyong. i said to myself, 2weeks for the selected areas in those cities para maintenance? it just tells you that their service suck… tapos when a serviceman went to my home, it got worst pa!kaya advice ko sa inyu DONT get Zpdeee. they DONT care about you, they DONT care about delivering quality service, and they DONT give a damn if your connection is busted. for them, your connection broken, wait forever. Kya wag kayu kuha ng zpdee………………..

Bulok ang zpdee. I had mine installed just this month and so far… palaging na didisconnect o kaya hindi maka connect. Today lang from 11 am to 2:30 pm hindi siya makapasok. Di ko magawa ang work ko, I had to go to an internet shop.
