iWebmasters outsourcing porn sites?

I am removing my post here about iWebmasters as per request of my source. It’s my fault actually for not asking the person if our conversation was bloggable or not.

I will leave the comments intact though as those are my reader’s opinions.

sometimes, webmasters are tempted to engage with pornography for they know that money will easily pour in from it.

      para itong shabu…..

Interesting. iWebmasters also has sign ads - I notice the one in the pedestrian underpass crossing Ayala near Makati Stock Exchange. The ad is wholesome.

yeah, i’ve been hearing a lot about that too. There was even an internal problem between the employees and their management from what I’ve heard (that was before, pero now I’m not sure).

The thing about porn sites is that they’re a VERY lucrative business for the web designer/developer (especially here in PI). Just take a look at those project bidding sites (like elance.com or something similar), you’re looking at a $1000++ per site range. Sa atin, that $1000 is a big thing. So you can imagine why a company like iWebmasters would be capitalizing on that. Ang problem nga lang, is the moral and legal issue of it.

The most “porn-like” site I ever did was for this guy in Europe. But the thing is, parang di porn. The shots are just like the ones you see in FHM lang, that’s it. Halos walang nudity. Pero when somebody offered me a project on a hardcore site, shucks, I took one look at the sample sites and from there i knew i wouldn’t be able to handle it. Di kaya ng sikmura ko.

Adult niches lead the way! :) they’ve led the ecommerce innovation race, they’ve led the SEO/internet marketing innovation race…I think they’d lead the web usability race too if the Nielsens included adult sites sites for their surveys.

For someone who’s looking to play around with bleeding edge technology, I think the adult industry (porn + gambling) is the perfect playground.

Back when I was still working fr my previous boss, we had offers to do some porn sites, mainly editing pics and videos but my boss turned down the offer. I kinda respect him for doing so but I think it may have given our company a little boost, maybe just try it out for a while but hey, its his company

Abe, don’t you think you shouldn’t be writing about the 50 million payoff part? That could be libelous… just thinking out loud. :)

Iwebmasters located at 27 floor Tycoon center at ortigas center. Actually wholesome talaga yung ads nila, but when you get hired dun mo malalaman ang nature ng company. Actually mas maraming web developer at writter ang hinahire nila. Sa 27 floor mga yun may maliit pa silang call center dun na puro pangungurakot sa mga customer nila, Identity thef support kuno.. kawawa mga inosente… $31.98 will be charge sa customer na nag apply ng payday loan.. grabe talaga.. they also cater porn site.. dating site meron din.

Yeah, we do porn. It’s one of the coolest jobs around! Bwahahaha! It’s better to work on porn for yourself though, without any company taking a cut, if you don’t need a steady paycheck for a few months.
