One of the first websites are in Geocities and angelfire.

I guess this is expected since the US Companies are on the losing side. Most of the corporations are in debt.

Maybe Yahoo is cost-cutting and shutting this down is the best option to save more this 2009.

what?! Geocities shutting down?! They’ve shut down Yahoo! Briefcase first, now this? well, yeah! I really feel nostalgic about it. This is where my first website was hosted. Now, i’m using Google Pages. And Blogger too! They’re easier to use.. And I like that they’re using AJAX technology.
