For the last 3 days (since Saturday), my connection was either down or too slow to even send a proper email. So instead of running around looking for some decent connection, I decided to sit back and treat the last 2 days as some sort of a blogging break. It’s fine now though so I think everything’s back to normal. How was your internet lately?
So, how was your internet connection?

Connection was not that bad. It was not back to a hundred percent but certainly getting better. Can still check YugaTech every now and then =)
im a Bayan DSL subscriber & i live in san juan.. my internet connection is fine as my *ss.. i havnt encounter any problems yet.. wen the news broke last week about eartquake in asia.. it’s still normal as shi*t. no slow or disconnected connection whatsoever
wel i ges.. Globe n Pldt DSL subcribers wer d most affected by this freakin eartquake or perhaps mine too i just didnt notice it..lol
im glad i SWITCH
Im using Globe Fixed Wireless Broadband and still doing fine since the earthquake news brokeup,I can still browse,download w/ tolerable speed,except during peak hours
My internet connection is much better now compared last week. pasalamat sa nangyari at natu2nan ko na gamitin ang opera browser ng samsung star ko. lol
i’m using sun unlimited…the internet service last week was terrible, slow slow slow, but atleast since sunday the connection has improved…
internet here in the office is ok. haven’t gone online at home.
everything is back to normal
me sun unlimited lang,very slow rin po.Even in midnight not able to reach 1mbps compare to the last 2nd quarter when it was 2mbps.Yung mga can afford sana magshift na lang sa mga big two networks para hindi naman tayo magsiksikan dito sa sun.
I could hardly tell because I was offline the whole weekend for a volunteers’ training program.
As for last night, every thing was normal with Globe Broadband: slow and intermittent from 10pm onwards.
i use PLDTDSL it’s more faster than last week, last time it took more than 15 minutes to open a website
Now it took a few seconds…
Free Globe Broadband Tattoo browsing after the quake. Haha
my isp provider was not affected by this. So nothings happen./
Want to share that I got 70kb downloading speed. by the way smartbro is my isp.
sun limited here, last week was kinda slow. Still usable but SLOW! This week everything back to normal. Fast and smooth. =)
Smart Bro Here. Kinda Slow Yesterday and the other day. But I think everything’s normal na.
I’m using Eastern Telecom DSL. Connection sucks ever since the quake. It’s like using Adobe CS4 on a 32-bit machine; yeah it’s that bad
Sa f0ne naman was fine…napilitang maghanap ng m0dded 0peramini 4.2. Affected kc lhat. Luckily i f0und 1 and its fast. N0w,its back t0 n0rmal except 4 s0me lagging during peak h0urs.
My internet connection sucks! i hate it..I’m using smart bro and it was always slow.hmmm i should change my broadband.but how? there’s a contract.
IF CONNECTION WAS TOO SLOW THERE IN PHILIPPINES, SAME CAN BE SAID IN CHINA WHERE I AM.
HERE ARE MY EXPERIENCES WITH DIFFERENT BROWSERS:
INTERNET EXPLORER = MEDIUM SLOW
MOZILLA FIREFOX = SUPER SLOW (UNEXPECTED)
GOOGLE CHROME = SLOWER THAN USUAL
SAFARI = JUST LIKE IE.
DARN, I HAVE A 1 MBPS CONNECTION AND IT REALLY SUCKS.
UP TO NOW, INTERNET CONNECTION IS STILL NOT BACK TO NORMAL OR I WOULD SAY IT IS TAKING A LOT TIME TO BE FIXED.
IN AS MUCH I HATED I, CANT DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT.
I WASN’T ABLE TO WATCH LIVE STREAMING YESTERDAY.
===========================
I TRIED USING FREE VPN, SOMEHOW IT ALLOWED ME TO CONNECT FASTER (SLIGHTLY). I DONT KNOW IF THAT IS A FACT, BUT IT REALLY DID.
SkyBroadband here. I don’t think their Internet was affected since my speeds were the same. Downloading movies was as fast as ever. he he he
My internet was pretty slow last thursday evening, after that everything’s smooth as silk. Back in the office things are still crawling
sun broadband here. well, my connnection is fine now. compare nung may earthquake. umaabot na sya ngayon ng 500-700kbps so i can watch animes na. pero madaya pa din, dapat nga kahit 1000 umabot e kasi up to 2mbps ang promise nila. tsk2… pero ewan din a.. kasi pag andun ako sa ibang room, tsaka bumibilis ang net ko. haha. depende din ata kung saang room ako nagiinternet. haha @_@
we have two line globe and pldt. Yung PLDT ok na since friday after the quake. Yung Globe…haayyy.. partida na yun nasa globe tower pa kami…. pangit!
SmartBro, no good! A true perennial crawler, really lived up to its name somewhere here in Davao City.
If the insomniacs ever fall prey to their additional free hour promo, you can pretty well conjure a marching band leading the kbps. As in a real s-l-o-o-w-w-m-o-o-o parade.
Locked-in SmartBro heavens, when will our troubles end? Waahh!!
My Connections:
Suncel – Went a-ok since Sunday.
Globe – Slow until now… im not sure if this is related with the fiber break though.
Pldt – Went a-ok since Sunday
ETPI – Didnt even encountered any issue at all.
ETPI here no internet the day cable broke after 2 days nag normalize na
Another Bayandsl subscriber here and my connection’s running fine since Sunday.
@BungeeJump
Are you back to 2 mbps?
My connection, ranges from 0.7-1.25 mbps
@RICHIE
what about your caps lock key? is it broken?
My Globe Broadband connection went back to its fast normal speeds. Good thing it only lasted for 2 days.
haha@garboi..
By the way I forgot my Bayantel… a-ok since sunday.
I’m using Globe wimax. Upload speed was really slow but download speed was fine…
pldt mydsl for me was fine since saturday, it was wed-fri that was bad
slow… but manageable..
so slow. can’t stand how long it took for youtube videos to buffer up. in the office, blogsites such as blogspot were blocked to conserve network bandwith
THAT was a provider issue??? I thought it was my router. myDSL super slow for me (Marikina Area) for the past few days. Firefox would not even load home google screen (not even load persona skin). Erratic performance at best (better at day time).
My Internet connection is now back to normal.
Using PLDTdsl. A few days before the quake our area went down.. so it was bad. After the quake PLDT took 4 days just to test everything and send someone to our house (the engineer was reluctant to go without me at home. this was very very perplexing since several engineers have tested the connection at our home with no concern if I was home). Anyway connection was back up again but downloading at a dreadful 11kbps and connection gets lost from time to time. Now that the problem caused by the quake has been fixed, my connection gets up to 50kbps. Still bad and still calling PLDT regarding this matter.
the connection was getting wonky at my home office.
Globe- slow
PLDT- okay but not as fast
then when I went to Cebu on thursday, I had free wifi at my hotel but it was so slow that I used my Globe tattoo which was even slower. I just started blogging last night.
My connection is still bad. I’m experiencing slow connection until now. MyDestiny is getting poorer and poorer as time goes by. Tsk!
slow internet connection was caused by the earthquake in Japan. We are lucky becuase our internet was not affected here in Qatar. But Last year the submarine cable for internet in mediteranean area was accidentaly cut and our internet was so much affected.
quite ok..
Here in Pamplona, Las Pinas, I’ve been experiencing very bad globe tattoo connection since last July 30th. I’ve been calling Globe customer service everyday and i get the same response “system enhancement at Pamplona area”. Is there any way to get Globe’s attention at all to my concern? I feel like it’s falling on deaf ears.
@Gregory… report mo direct sa Globe president mismo… i did it before…. now im happy…hehe
@Jayb bro pano ba makokontak yung president ng globe mismo? Sobrang pangit ng connection ng globe connection ngayon , kungdi super bagal ng internet eh wala. laging dahilan samin system restoration, eh more than 1 month na yun di pa sila tapos sa area namin? I would like to unsubscribe na with their DSL service and want to apply na lang to other company kaso ang kakapal nilang magpabayad ng penalty gayung di naman napapakinabangan yung connection nila. my line of work is mostly in the internet peo naka Smart Broadband ako kasi super bagal ng globe sa ngayon. daig pa namin naka dial up sa sobrang bagal.
