Yes, but who are the majority of companies who is distributing those Pinoy movies on media? Not Filipino ones. Just like OPM, the labels are mostly foreign as well. Just local branch offices of foreign cartels.

No, my tune wouldn’t be different if the companies were local. Then they would be part of the problem as well. However, this is not the case, its foreign exploitation of a local market. This makes it much easier to condemn you for spreading their propaganda.

Don’t do it Yuga! Stick to the tech or spread the truth, not corporate propaganda. Support your readers and their needs over the agenda of corporations who unfairly try to control us and bleed us dry. You don’t even have a financial conflict here, none of your advertisers seem to be the cartels.

I enjoy reading your blog too much to be forced to cut you out, so I beg you spread the truth and support your readers!

Piracy? That makes you an American stooge, Yuga! When we are charged less for blu ray titles than a country that has 9999999 times our average income (not scientific too lazy to look it up) than you have the right to call it piracy.

Our movie ticket prices reflect our average income, yet the cartels charge us more than US prices for the same titles on media. Then they call us a country of pirates.

Boooo to American corporate sellout of our domestic bloogers!

@Arlene, the keyword there is SEARCH. Yahoo is in better position to tell the Philippines which search engine Filipinos prefer. and everybody already knows the answer. it’s simply GOOGLE.

Having Yahoo as your homepage doesn’t necessarily mean you’re also using it as your search engine. Yahoo is my homepage too because their blogs and articles are very useful and relevant, but when i need a search i’ll go to the ever reliable google search. Everyone knows google is better. Maybe you’re the one who needs to use that head of yours.
