Just landed this morning at Seoul, South Korea and will be spending the rest of the day here before I head home. I’m off for some last minute gadget shopping and maybe I’d find something interesting.
Most people say, Hong Kong and Singapore are one of the best places to grab some great bargains for gadgets and tech stuff. Well, I think Seoul, South Korea could very well be in that little group.
Everything in Germany is expensive so I held myself from getting into a spending spree. I think all that saving up was worth it — the gadget bargains here at Seoul in South Korea are great.

For example — a Canon Ixus 80 IS costs about Php8k after discount (plus a 2GB SD card); an iPod Touch 16GB is around Php14k and a Canon Speedlite 580EX which is about Phnp23k in the Philippines is just Php18k here. I got a battery grip for my EOS 40D for only Php5.5k.
Problem now is not to buy too much heavy stuff and go over the luggage limit again (I threw a couple of stuff away at the Frankfurt Airport just to get within the luggage weight limit).

Wow, those are great prices! It must be really cold in Korea at this time though. Best season to go there is spring.
